This is absolutely riveting, a real insight into the 'body-snatcher'. :)

So I haven't read anything with Callista in it, but somehow I think this must be a spot-on look at her that peels back the surface to reveal her inner workings. In short, I think this is BRILLIANT and probably better than anything I'd see in "canon." I am amazed at how you reveal that the human has become a computer. I could go on and on. This is awesome. :D

I absolutely LOVE this story! When I read Children of the Jedi the thought of the spirit of a dead Jedi taking over the body of a suicidal woman was totally creepy! In some of my fanfics I mention that a person could never spend decades in a computer without going insane.

This is an excellent take on the subject! Bravo!

I am not a huge EU fan, I don't even know if I have read the book that Luke meets Callista - but I do think fans give her poor credit, she interested me much more due to her unusual (impossible) background. I think she un-nerves people and I believe you have hit the nail on the head with this in explaining why. If that makes sense.
