kingslayers chapter 1 . 6/11/2011 Nanii, that's absolutely gorgeous. I /adored/ little Ophelia so much. She's absolutely amazing, and she was so cute, and so heartbreakingly sad, but also SOSOSOSOSO gleeful, and you wrote it amazingly! I loved seeing Jace's heart, and how he reallytrulyhonestly cares about that little redhead girl, and how he'd do anything for her. It was breathtaking, Nanii. |
breeutiful chapter 1 . 6/4/2011 Ohmygosh, Nanii! This was so fantastic and amazing and great and just... it made my day to wake up to a fic like this! It really shows what kind of person Jace is under the whole bad boy persona and that's one of the things about this fic that is so great! Not to mention Ophelia! I thought she was brilliant and it was so like her, especially the end line, haha. "She pulls away, attention already back to the candy, and Jace smiles a little wistfully as he realises she's already growing up, and soon, she'll be off and away and exploring on her own, and she wouldn't need her old uncle fossil anymore. But he'd be damned if he didn't try to hold on to what time he had left." This almost made me tear up. Poor Jace - Ophelia will always need her old uncle fossil because without him, she wouldn't be herself. She wouldn't have anybody to talk to about Star Wars and convince to let her drink. ;) |
Aebbe chapter 1 . 6/4/2011 This is so darn cute. I love this side of Jace, when you see that underneath the immature player, there's a guy with a real heart. And littleOphelia is so adorable I want to hug her. I love her cheekiness (especially her last line), but at the same time, her vulnerability. This was like reading a prologue to a story or something, when the characters were younger, and I always love that kind of thing! Of course, I suppose to people not on the RPG, it might seem a little random, but still. Hopefully they can enjoy it as a really nice piece of writing, even without direct references to HP. Only thing is, we don't have kindergarten (which I'm assuming is what you mean by kindy) in Britain. But anyway, I loved this - the whole thing just brought a smile to my face. :) |
