So there is another world on the other side of the Light? And Kagome is the lightbarrier of the worlds? This is so intriguing and the potential for the romance that ended tragically is awesome. Haah, sadly I'll never know what happens next.

Youko's past is deepening, was he lying to Kurama this whole time?

So even Youko doesn't remember this but somehow events with the holy energy are bringing those memories back. Was he in love or something? Stealing her shards but then giving them back?

This progresses really fast, Kurama almost killed by purification for touching the barrier? I thought he was smarter than to do that, but well, I doubt he expected to be hit via his plant.

Oh, this keeps getting better and better. How on earth are the three worlds going to merge together again should the barrier collapse? I imagine more along the lines of monster tsunamis and earthquakes than just some rampaging demons.
Shippo's appearance was also curious.

Interesting, Youko in the past but maybe Kagome's interference with the timeline means his past changed after he met her? Like the time travel theory that events can be changed and memories added? Mmm.
