Of all the cracked pairings ever written, Saito/Misao has got to be one of the craziests, heh...very enjoyable. Plot wasn't much to talk about, but you nailed their character's so well that all you had to do is let the two bounce off one another.

I love this story and pairing! While the characters were in a new setting you never changed their personalities, you just gave them more depth. I would really love to see this pairing develop, is there a possibility of a sequel in the future?

misao... her feirce loyalty, innocent trust, her firey temper, sarcasitc and caustic wit, her determination, her grit. qualities that earn devotion and respect... you have portreyed her so well, not just the non-stop chatterbox of the series... someone more mature and slightly disillusioned. maybe if she were 5 years older, i could imagine a saitou/misao relationship.

saitou... you seemed to have a bit of fun with him, heartless mask, not a soft heart, but a heart. a consuming sense of duty and conviction. skilled with sarcasm, barbs and wit as he is with a sword.

lovely and delightful fic. your english is no worse than that of the average american student, at least what comes from you is creative, entertaining and insightful.

Okay, I don't know if this review'll reach you, but I just wanted to send you my thoughts really. I've become an avid Misao x Saito supporter lately, and I really enjoyed reading your story. It was easy to get trough, very well written for someone who's native language isn't english (Speaking from experience here) and everyone was just so in character. Especially Saito, whom I find out is OOC in many fics. Of course I loved for a lush romance between Saito and Misao, but along the way I realised that the ending of this story might just be the best one. It's obvious the two of them find each other special above normal friendship, and this will remain in their hearts forever. Okay, I'm blabbering mush right now, but it all comes down to this: I enjoyed the ride greatly!

Your writing style is very nice - I can discern your love of X in alot of the quotes. :-) I would like to see a sequel very much, although you look like you're more into writing Harry Potter at the moment, I hope you won't give up on the Rurouni Kenshin fandom!
