You know, at first I thought this was a one-shot, but then I remembered myself putting the word count too high for there to be a one-shot.

This story is one of the most original Portal stories I've read. I love that human Wheatley is in it without actual Wheatley being human. You also had Caroline completely deleted, which is unique from many of these stories. Your writing is very good and I look foreword to your updates.
PS I wanted to add that the scandle at Aperture makes me think of something the Doctor would investigate. Kind of reminiscent to the episode with Satellite 5 and the M

I love this story! It is absolutely amazing! You guys mastered the characters personality so well! I love how you kept GLaDOS the way she is and not make her overwhelmingly nice like some people do! I really like the plot for this story as well! I also like how the human Wheatley doesn't have his memories back yet! Ugh! I can't wait until you update with Wheatleys reaction to Chell's story of Aperture that GLaDOS is telling him! Please update soon!

Well, I certainly look forward to the next chapter. This is a pretty good story; not too many typos, well written, everyone's in-character so far... I'll keep an eye on it.

Core!Wheats meets Human!Wheats?

Alright, so full review time.

I love it. Maybe it's the 3 AM talking (and yes, I beat the 4 AM mark, by :five minutes:, allow me to add), but I'm loving it.

It's a very creative way of taking the human!Wheatley, too many people have him as human from the get-go which ruins the whole intrigue of who Wheatley was before becoming a Core.

Your writing is on the positive side of things, a bit too much quoting of the original for my taste, but that's just me. I'm obnoxious and finicky like that.

The whole "Knock if you're okay and uhh, don't knock if you're not okay" line blew my mind of sheer Wheatley-ness. It was a good reminder of just how little has changed from human to core.

You have a decent balance of description-to-dialogue, it's a good mix in here of both some quick, snappy action-time dialogue and some nice bits of description that get the job done in the best and freshest-smelling way.

Some writers take far too much stock in how much communication Chell can get away with, and I feel that you've wrapped up those issues nicely.

It's rare for me to review so much on a story in the midst of reading it, it's a sure sign that something good is going on here.

Matau, Have you read 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead'? Because if Chell is Guildenstern, Wheatley is totally Rosencrantz, neither were really too bright.
