I've just found this story and read all 18 chapters in one go. You've got such a great Finn/Rachel voice and the story telling is so believable. Hope this story is going to continue!

Is chapter 9 supposed to be just 1 paragraph and 1 sentence? That's all I'm seeing here. Just cause... I've read a lot of your stuff and it doesn't seem like you, lol. And, I can't figure out what the text message is that Finn send Rachel that's referred to in chapter 10. Just wondering! Because every bit of your chapters are too good just assume! :-)

And, I sent the comment for chapter 8 before I finished reading the last part (I guess I got ahead of myself, hate when that happens) but in the end, I was pretty mad at Finn for suggesting Rachel was 'on something.' Her reaction to it was SO Rachel. A part of me was thinking maybe the sugar cookies in chapter 10 was part of her plan to make 'I'm sorry cookies' for Finn but apparently he pissed her off too much. He made up for it though - it was amazing.

Poor Rachel. And here I was hopeful she didn't notice Quinn's hickey, but of course she did. Rachel Berry is very observant.

I loved Finn in this chapter - I think it highlighted his best qualities. There aren't many guys who can handle a girl like RB. Her vulnerability was palpable - but she still manages to take a few (really funny) jabs at poor Finn. I'm glad he stood up for himself like he did... but was so sweet, honest, loving, supportive of his gf's insecurites at the same time. I already love them together - and you made me love them even more. :)

Please update this story asap!

OK. Low priority, schmo-priority; I couldn't stay away. I already told you that this update was amazing, and I'm not just saying that. It really felt like every word had purpose, which is pretty damn amazing (and not just for you. *wink*). So, bypassing the sweeping "this is amazing" sections, I'm just going to get into the nitty gritty.

The entire beginning was pretty awesome/hot. But this must be pulled out:

***And then she pulls back and bites her lip and he can't not keep kissing her…so he doesn't get an answer to his question. Then again, maybe the answer is in the way she kisses him back and her kisses are more forceful and her tongue is more certain, and her grip is a little tighter and roaming more—through his hair, on his cheeks, her thumb toying with his ear. He can't help it; maybe he's grinding against her a little, but she's wearing a skirt and she's straddling his lap and what the hell would anyone expect?***

You just write their passion for one another so well, and make it feel real and natural and legit. Plus, you do it all while staying completely in character, Finn shining through in here so much that I had to laugh (here and the part about taking off her underwear when home alone is a rule. Ha!).

And the Finn master strikes again:

***He nods thoughtfully, trying really, super, and extra hard not to think about her in a Goddamn cape (but probably for different reasons than how it's so hot outside.) "So I guess I'm just gonna have to be at every performance to be your bodyguard. 'Cause I'm pretty sure the only thing hotter than you with knee socks is you without them."***

And then this:

***And yeah, honestly, he thinks back a little bit to a cat calendar that was just sorta nuts when she did it. She's kind of weird about that kind of stuff. But at the same time, she gave his whole summer a 'scheduling makeover' or whatever, and it's been really fun. He'll take the cat calendar or glitter chart (technically that was Kurt, so he might be safe from that anyway) or whatever else if it means he gets more puddle jumping, more making timeouts, more water fights, more water parks, more trips to the lake…

…whatever. He's in. For all of it. As long as it's more time with her.***

You have me doing all this crazy math trying to figure out just how much summer is left, and with school actually starting back up, this feels all too real. It's sad to see this coming to an end, but this part really makes me hopeful for the future. The future that you are going to continue with, right? :D

I really enjoy the way you've developed the maturing relationship between Finn and Rachel, and you've done such a lovely, realistic job of showing the more adult approaches they're taking wrt their relationship.
