GoldenBug Prime chapter 1 . 3/24/2017 Beautiful, just simply beautiful! |
StrangerWays chapter 1 . 9/17/2012 That was beautiful. I'm crying like a punk right now. I could truly imagine Phoebe and Helga crying in class and the students confused by the two behavior. Phoebe is a beautiful friend, she's just amazing. Your choices of poems were brilliant, I knew "His cot mistress" when Arnold looked to Lila I could feel Helga and Phoebe's pain. Arnold searching for Helga after class hugging her was beautiful! Amazing job! This was beautiful:) |
Kimmiko T chapter 1 . 11/6/2011 I love this story! Thanx! |
loonytunecrazy chapter 1 . 5/10/2010 exllcent fic here |
deity of death1 chapter 1 . 8/20/2008 Wow... The last line was wonderful. |
frecklemaggie chapter 1 . 2/17/2007 great writing |
Readrbug21 chapter 1 . 2/12/2006 That WAS poetry. Wow, was that cool or what? *roaring applause* I guess that's a "yes," LOL. But there's one thing I just don't get. What scene are you talking about? When you mention, um: "Because this story has played out among our class, some months before. The story, when Arnold and Helga had been the players, had transpired a little differently, but the situation had been nearly identical." Did it happen in the show, or did you just make the scenario up? I'm practically dying to know. -Sami (Still lovin' the story!) |
LateOrliBloomer chapter 1 . 6/24/2005 LOVED IT! (although...i think...it was a little over my head. so...just to clarify, this was about HELGA and ARNOLD, correct? i...don't really understand. maybe i just...missed that episode or something? anyway, yeah...that old man thing: totally clueless about that. i was never very good with poetry. i saw implications and symbolism where there was none, and i tend to miss the really obvious stuff. eh, figures. but the last stanza, last 4 lines: He lives to learn, in life’s hard school How few who pass about him Lament their triumph, and his loss Like her—because they love him. i COMPLETELY do not get that at all! could you please explain it to me? please? (email: yeah, it's kind of driving me crazy. and what was with the little helga-phoebe hugfest out in the hall? |
skatergirl13 chapter 1 . 4/7/2005 awesome! I loved the poetry in it! |
Yardbird9 chapter 1 . 2/1/2005 Nice poems. I like how you had each character(Arnold, Helga and Phoebe) handle reading and presenting their poem, since each one handled it differently according to their personality. Phoebe's personality really showed in your story. She was very in character. |
DarthRoden76 chapter 1 . 7/27/2003 Greetings Ivory! I truly enjoyed this story alot! Both this one and the Before Woman are among my favorates stories...I think you are truly a great writer. You put so much detail and emotion into your fanfiction...it is truly an inspiration. Arnold & Helga are a truly great couple and it is good that Phoebe can see that too, like in the end of the Episode "Married" Thank You for the smile on my face today! LOL! May The Force Be With You! -DarthRoden (aka. Carl) |
Kilala chapter 1 . 2/15/2003 The story you wrote was incredible, the poem Phobe read was phenominal. Kilala .~ |
Stace chapter 1 . 7/27/2002 That was very sweet. Some of these sorts of fanfics seem too mature for them to have been written about 4th graders. Cause I know in 4th grade if someone said "breast" in a poem, no matter what, everyone would snicker. I barely understood most of that poetry at age 9 either. But it being unrealistic is better to read than to read something that an actual 4th grader would have thought. Good job. |
