I hope this ends differently than the movie though, the normal one makes me teary, so the same ending involving Marik and Bakura will leave me bawling. Again as a recap, fantastic job.

I love Treasure Island! I'm really glad you didn't just replace the characters names, you know? There have been so many times where authors try and replace characters in a movie with those from another series but don't alter their personalities accordingly; they change the character to fit the role, rather than alter the role/personality(of the character in the original movie) to fit the character that's replacing the old one. Did that come out making sense to you?

Mini-rant aside, I also like which YGO characters you've used to fit each role, they all fit really well and you've managed to keep the canon personalities for the most part. You have no idea how sad I was when I finished chapter 8 and went to go on only to find that I had reached the end. You're still updating this, right? Your profile says it's on hiatus, but I'm hoping that will end relatively soon. I'm rooting for you!
