Reviews for And a Little Child Shall Lead Him
Sona14 chapter 29 . 2/6/2018
Thank You for your work!
it was aw-inspiriring to read this and I read it in one rush. It was an intresting idea and you found the perfect set up. The team characters were very well portrayed and it was a lot of family-feeling involved without getting too much. I also have to compliment you for such nice bonding with the team as well as with Bittzy (sorry if the name is wrong written'). The insights Reid gets through his experiences were inspiring and I think one can learn plenty from them for their own lifes.
I can't understand the review of the guest before me but one, because BamBam and Eleanor are wonderful original characters who grew to my heart.
It was hard to read the suffering which the cancer and chemo bring but it was even more beautiful to see the support friends and family (through blood and otherwise) can give!
Thank you for your research for this topic and the effortone can clearly see you madeyou made to fulfill the wish to make this story as realistic as it could get!
love, Sona

Loved it!
Guest chapter 29 . 4/25/2016
I liked the idea of this fic, but hate that it's just a vehicle for your oc/self insertion.
I tried scanning through it to try and get to actual team interaction without your oc's dominating the action and I just gave up.

Hopefully someone will be inspired to write and actual CM fic on this subject though, rather than just hijacking the Fandom for their own purposes.

Wow. I saw your note that said a lot of people write to you with their own stories of cancer - I'm not any different. I tend to gravitate towards cancer fics in different fanfictions, at least the ones that seem like they'll have a happy ending, and I think it's because my grandma died of cancer. I think I just need to see/hear that people survive, even if it is in fiction.

I must say that you wrote this beautifully, the emotion and the love, as well as the heartache, that you put into this is astounding. You write extremely well, with perhaps your characterization skills being the best aspect. I could hear each of the canon characters' voices, and could picture them saying the lines you wrote. You did especially well on Reid, Hotch, Rossi, and Emily. You are also good at writing original characters.

If I had one complaint, it would be that Reid agreed to wear bandanas. I can see him wearing some styles of hats, but I can't see him ever agreeing to bandanas. Seriously that is my only real criticism. It was a really good story. Great work.
ripon chapter 29 . 6/7/2013
A very moving story. So glad it ended with hope and a future for them both. My husband and my son in law are both in remission from cancer and the three and six monthly checks are always a time of reflection and fear but also the tightening of the determination to beat this disease. Thank you for writing so factually about cancer. It is a disease to fight not hide from and so often I surprise people by talking openly about what we have gone through but it must not become the elephant in the room. I refuse to let it take the family I love away from me. One day medical science will banish it from our lives. Thank you for sharing.

Kay chapter 1 . 6/4/2012
Thank you for this wonderful story. I've seen few of the greatest people go through cancer and none of them have made it. Just to read a story where for once they made it makes me feel better and it gives me hope for everyone else that's fighting cancer.

Thanks

I guess all of your reviews say it, but I think you are fantastic for writing this. It was great. Cancer is such a fight, and probably everybody in the world knows somebody who has/had cancer. Both my grandmothers died of it, and my aunt did too, not too long ago. The people who fight it are so brave and I feel so much for them, it's unbelievable. And I think there are a lot of people who feel exactly the same way. It is horrible that such a thing exist, but I don't have an ounch of doubht in my body that research will find a (better) cure. And so we pray. I thank you for writing this true story.

real life got in the way, but here is my final review for the last few chapters.

I laughed and I cried, you are a great writer. I'm glad they're both doing well at the end of the story, especially since Spencer is my fav character on CM.

I hope to see more from you soon.
