One of the best "Ianto leaves Torchwood" stories I've read.

Not sure how I’ve missed reading this before now. Was quite worried in the early chapters, but so glad that they worked it out. Lovely to see the two of them living together, and Ianto going on to do something that makes him really happy. I would think that even though Jack would miss working with him, he would like it that he was safe.

Where Ianto is taking all the blame, Jack needs to turn it around on him. Tell Ianto that he knows it was his fault that he couldn't protect Ianto. And that Ianto is punishing him for his lack of action. It makes as much sense as Ianto blaming himself. I know that it's a natural reaction. He's punishing them both. But he doesn't even give Jack an option. It's either they are no longer together at work or outside of or they are no longer together at all and he leaves. Which amounts to the same thing. I've read this before when I was just new to the site. Now I know more about it I can leave a review. This story breaks my heart.

Wow! Don't know how I missed this story. It's lovely! Poor Ianto his self esteem took a beating. But Jack stepped up to the plate. I love happy endings! Brilliant!

Now that is a happy ending. And far more satisfying. Thank you!

I grinned so much in this last chapter. While I was initially upset that Ianto quit Torchwood, I'm thrilled that they're still together and the coffee shop/bakery is a brilliant idea.

Truly wonderful fiction. As I said earlier, definitely going into my favorites.

I'm glad that they'll stay together, though I'm really hoping that Ianto stays with Torchwood, too.
