Overall this was a good story. The only criticism I have is that I wish it would have had a bit more detail, a few more gaps filled in and questions answered. There's some things I am still confused about, but like I said, it's still a good story, and I enjoyed reading it. I hope that's something you can use in your future writing, and that you do keep writing!

I think the ending is super sweet and nice. It balances out the darker side of the book nicely. Especially in this chapter you make it so that the sides compliment each other.
