TrueRedDragonGodEmperor chapter 4 . 5/11 I enjoyed the last 3 chapters of the story but not a huge fan of this chapter. You've made Shirou so much weaker than he should be. He's accumulated experience of fighting and winning a grail war already; there should be no reason for him to be this weak. Additionally, if your going to take things like his magic circuits from the past life and add it to his current body then you need to remain consistent. You gave him more circuits but not the reservoirs of magic that go along with it. Additionally, Shirou is capable of killing Gilgamesh (one of the strongest Archer class servants), Heracles (a super powerful Berserker), and Emiya (a strong Archer class) at base form. If he's capable of killing figures like this on his first time around (see games or wiki for reference) than he should definitely be able to at least hold off Heracles without being injured. Not going to lie, this chapter was pretty disappointing...even if you weren't going to make Shirou more powerful then he was the first timeline. He should have done some prior planning...he obviously remembered what night it was. He knew this confrontation was coming and you have him do no planning? The first thing he decides when he gets back is that he is going to change the events that happened. There is no way that he wouldn't have planned for Heracles. It doesn't make sense. Part of your story contradict other parts of the story. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to give critical analysis of the story. |

WriteShop chapter 1 . 11/3/2019 It would be good if you finished this. |
Ryoji Mochizuki chapter 9 . 10/10/2019 interesting. |
Guest chapter 2 . 9/28/2019 Absolutely fucking retarded |
Guestinator chapter 5 . 9/19/2018 I am out. Good luck with the story but 99% of stories ignore how just saying you are from the future would solve everything for needless drama. It makes the MC stupid and unworthy of even breathing. Then there is not even telling his Servant, cause who else could he possibly trust that has experience with BS magic? The final point is you going "Poor Shirou" and saying it will happen a lot. That would only happen if 1) He was to weak to do anything, 2) To stupid to think up anything believable and 3) refuses to just tell the truth and heads things off at the pass. In short to me he is given the Idiots Ball to have the story even exist. I am not here to read about constant stupidity. If you can't manufacture actual interest with intelligent characters that is no shame to you but still.. I won't read a MC being near brain dead just because you can't make things more real. |
Esmereilda chapter 8 . 8/15/2018 *facepalms* I totally forgot that this is fate route not ubw XP but what will he do when the truth eventually comes out |
Esmereilda chapter 7 . 8/15/2018 said terrifying enemy knows all ab your plans archer XD |
Esmereilda chapter 5 . 8/15/2018 too bad for u rin since he knows exactly who ur servant is and what he is capable of so he'll likely know what to look for and how to evade archers atks esp when he gets all his working again |
PervyPanda chapter 5 . 7/2/2018 Why's Rin acting like Shirou owes her or something? It's quite annoying. |
Bored321 chapter 5 . 4/26/2018 So a goodnight’s sleeps and now Shirou’s right as rain? Not really, since I doubt he’s perfect, but what was the point of him getting mutilated so badly? He was already a mess before Berserker struck him with enough force to take out Saber, and yet the following morning he’s actually able to move? To reiterate, Hercules himself just went at Shirou with full force. By all rights, Shirou should be a smear on the pavement after that, yet a couple hours afterwards he’s able to get out of bed and go about his day? I don’t see it. He would’ve been more likely to wake up in the hospital, or the morgue. Does the fact that a person came from the future always have to remain a secret up until the worst possible time? It seems like it’s a common trend in fiction. Withhold a particularly noteworthy fact for the sake of drama. Is admitting that he was sent back from the The-to-be future(!) by the Omnipotent Wishing Granting Grail so damning? At first he could’ve justified in a round-about way as claiming that it made it impossible to predict people, but now that excuse has dried up. Archer’s been thrown for a loop. Always funny. |
Bored321 chapter 3 . 4/26/2018 If the palpable malevolence was so noticeable, wouldn’t it make sense for Saber to mention it? For all Saber knows, Shirou’s walking into a trap. |
Bored321 chapter 2 . 4/26/2018 “Grail Tourney”? I don’t get this. Aside from this being something wouldn’t say, it sounds so out of place that it shatters my sense of immersion (which, coincidentally is why I’m writing this mid-read as opposed to at the end). Satisfying to see Saber walk out of that fight unscathed, though Lancer retreating seemed cowardly of him. He'd just said that he lived for the thrill of being in life-or-death battles, but now he turns tail and runs without a second thought? Doesn't add up. “I am the Servant you summoned to participate in the most holy of Tourneys, the Grail War.” Alright, that one made me laugh. |
Bored321 chapter 1 . 4/26/2018 Not much to comment on. Interesting start. Though, I found "the Death of time itself" was massively exaggerated since it implied the absolute destruction of all reality as opposed to the cessation of a separate time-line. |
williamcll chapter 9 . 1/29/2018 This is pretty good, I hope you can update more. |
