Ughhhhh I'm so in love with your writing style. Everything is so perfectly described, even down to the fibers of the towel Shepard grabbed last chapter.

I always wondered about the mechanics of sex between a human and a Turian and you seriously couldn't have made this any more perfect. Talking about classy, sensual smut, this was so incredible.

I know we're supposed to critique for the review game but...I honestly don't...I have nothing to say about what you could improve. I know I said that on Brink as well but...if you 'fixed' anything, I'm worried that I would like it less. How could you possibly fix something this great?

Someone once told me in a concrit review that a good author doesn't assume that the audience knows the already established personalities of the characters involved (he ended up not providing examples so I chose to ignore his review), but the fact of the matter is that this is fan fiction. Your readers will come to find your story because they sought it out; or at least, sought the fandom out. That's the only thing I could've nitpicked about, had you not captured both Shepard and Garrus perfectly.

So anyway, that's my two cents. You're officially one of my favorite authors, hahah.

I must admit, I am fandom-blind on this one, but that's what makes this all the more satisfying. I knew nothing of Shepard or Garrus, yet I seemed to know all I needed to in this chapter. I could follow and be engaged in this scene without having known the background, and that is a testament to your writing.

I was sincerely hooked from the very beginning. Your gift for description painted the perfect picture for me to follow and become more interested in with every new detail. It was truly exciting for me to get to know more about Shepard as the scene went on, and I was even more endeared to her as things progressed. It was so interesting to me that this woman had died and been brought back with the help of Cerberus. The fact that she'd been dead and now she was a Commander speaks volumes of her character. The sexual tension and urgency in this scene shows just how human she still is, and how dire whatever going on outside her private chambers likely was. As for Garrus, after reading this, I just had to look him up to see what he looked like! At first I wasn't sure if he was human or not, but then as you described him more, I realized that he was anything but. I always love reading about unlikely pairings, and this one was brilliantly written.

The only thing I could find to nitpick was in the fourth paragraph where "loose" should be "lose". Everything else is simply awesome, and even though I am not familiar with this fandom, I know I will want to keep reading this one because I'm hooked on your characters!

I loved the start of this - you catch Shepard's feeling of utter bone-deep weariness so well. She feels like she wants to just curl up and vanish for days at a time. And then in comes Vakarian and Bam! It's like a jolt of electricity when she sees him - slightly dark and predatory, with this hint of danger and sexual allure. It sent shivers down my spine, and I loved the way their chat progressed from them talking about what they want from each other, to that light joking sexual banter - which is what good sex should be. There should be some joking and some fun.

I'm not normally a fan of first person fics, but I really, really enjoyed this. Garrus' character voice was solid, and the way you caught the emotions and feelings between the two of them was wonderful. So many small touches and tiny languages choices made this a pleasure to read! Bravo! :)

well written - use of first person really helped me get into shep's head (and yay for no first names). liked the portrayal of garrus.
