This is exactly the way I see SJ reacting to being left behind. She's not the type to ever give up on the Doctor or to be in awe of him to the point that she wouldn't cheerfully give him a piece of her mind. Well written, I love it.

The Doctor never has been good at apologizing, has he? But apologies are a necessity, and Sarah Jane definitely needed one from her Doctor. Good TARDIS, for coming up with the right spot.
