And if Loki in humanoid form now, means the child has to be too. And was missing for ten months... so if he gives birth in a some humanoid form, nobody will knows (human pregnancy lasts a plus-minus nine months. And men - not only humanoid - don't become pregnant... ) . All will decide by default that some damsel warmed his nights. But she either died at childbirth, or wasn't ready to such consequences.

Gee... If you were so intended to follow mythology, you should leave Loki as female mare for the whole year (according to myth the only reason of the birth of Sleipnir is that Loki couldn't return in his usual - and very male - shape). Or, at least, turned him into woman, - seeing as chance to turn in any kind of male is impossible because of pregnancy (and obvious impossibility for man of any kind to bear a child). And it still would be considered as man's pregnancy, considering that normally Loki is a man, was born like one and was raised in accordance...

Interesting! I've never read the original myths, but of course I have heard of the story, or rather the fact that Sleipnir is Loki's son. It was fascinating to see it integrated into movie-canon, especially since it took place *after* the Thor movie.

Actually, this should take place before the events in Thor because Lokis son that he bares is in the movie. When Odin save them from the first giants he's riding him.
