KarinOslo chapter 28 . 12/25/2016
«"I will leave you tonight because I can't tolerate the thought of being just another good time to you, a convenient tumble in the sack. Oh, it would be gooood between us Clarice, of course it would. I don't begrudge you your past, you're the woman before me now because of it. But I won't be like the others."»

Holy Christ and the gods above, this is such an amazing dialogue between my favorite fictional characters. Thank you guys for creating such quality.

"Lashes casting spiked shadows across her cheek..." Oooh! Can I use that someday if I ever write a fic? Large chapters are nice, but your small installment form has its charm. It's like reading the story through a series of interlocking puzzzle pieces. I love how the doctor is a part of her mind when she reasons things out. I love that she talks to him, that he talks sometimes when she'd rather he didn't. Hey! A female killer?! I love it! Who says they all have to be men? "Giving it the appearance of a taylored Italian suit..." Oh yeah! What a great image for a car. "Too bad you're a baby..." *lol* That didn't last long. Alessandro is so sweet and yet... I wanna strangle him! That means you did it right. Clarice's love of running reminds me of Rippley from Dance upon the Air. It's a book series about witches by Nora Roberts. Have you guys read it? "Are You There God" is a great book! I loved it growing up. *smiles* I really like Clarice's flashbacks. I really like the killer's POV. It's sad and creepy all at once. "The fop..." So true. Alessandro really is a fop. I'm glad Hannibal gets a POV. I love the idea of Hannibal and Clarice being in their own private opera with changing scenery. I love all the detail in their first dinner at Clarice's new house. I loved a lot of other things along the way too, but I got so caught up in the story that I forgot to take notes as I went. Oh I hope there are many many more stories, by each of you separately as wel as by you as a team. I love that even though this one was based on the movie, you gave our favorite lovers the ending from the book. Well done! PS, Oh, and I can't wait to read the sequel

It's about time dear old hannibal showed up. Even if it was just over a phone.
Guest chapter 6 . 5/16/2015
I love the hair thing. That was a really good way to introduce that the killer was in fact a woman. Bravo.

Thank you both so much.

Although you both laboured with this years ago, I am sure you will be pleased to know the joy that your writing continues to give.

God Bless both of you,
Joseph

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I was so impressed with the way you two handled not only collaborating writing styles, but also pacing. Clarice's journey to Milan and her dive into the hunt for a new serial killer unfolds before the reader in a steady stream. The whole story is rich with setting details and so lifelike. I feel like I am stopping in a humble trattoria for an espresso. I could imagine checking into the hotel, taking advantage of handsome Alessandro (go Clarice). Wow, your story is sumptuous and decadent, just like Hannibal.

I think the only complaints a happy reader could have are not seeing more of Clarice and Hannibal's first consummation of their love. And I wish we, the readers, hadn't been in on the pedophile angle of the serial killer mystery so early. I feel like we should have learned of that much closer to the end.

I really have to applaud the quality pacing and detail of the crime investigation. It never felt stale, despite this reader being exposed to far too many crime investigation TV shows. I felt like you two could go off and write original murder mysteries and I'd want to read them. Although, I have never worked in any capacity for law enforcement, my amateur ears didn't find any details out of place, which was lovely and helped to never distract from the story.

Okay, going to read Transcendence.

Amazing story! Read the whole story in one sitting as it was too good to stop. Can't wait til the next!

I was a little disappointed there was no "lemon". Not because I always want those in a story, but because I always regard H and C's first coming together intimately as something very special between the pair. Something that has been building up between them for many years and I feel it is a very important factor in their relationship. However, just as long as your magnificent story keeps allowing us into their intimate thoughts and feelings for one another then that will satisfy me.
Loving the fic so far. Can't wait to read the rest!

It's so nice to read a truly enthralling story like yours and I'm looking forward to seeing how this story develops, especially between Clarice and Hannibal!

I loved this story
EwigeStudentin chapter 46 . 5/4/2014
I absolutely loved this story. It was clever and well-written, and it still boggles my mind that it was a collab!
I really loved all the details. You must have spent a lot of time with research! The locations were researched so well that I felt like I was there. I especially liked the tiny detail about the surveillance cameras and Hannibal taking the best route to avoid them. It was also fun deciphering all the Italian (I've just began learning the languge).
Another thing that stuck with me - the canal in front of the house. You mentioned it in one of the first chapters and then it became so important later in the story! I can't imagine how you managed to achieve this level of natural continuity with a story of this length and two writers. You did really great, both of you! I stayed up till 6AM yesterday because I couldn't put this story down. Amazing job, thank you for sharing!

I'm really enjoying this story so far. It's amazing how well you guys write together. You must have spent a lot of time figuring out the backrounds and the intricacies of the plot. The characterizations are seamless - it's interesting to see who wrote what but I can't pick any differences in your style even with the pointers provided.
