Ohgodskillmenow. Poignancy, that's what this was. Beautiful poignancy that went straight through my chest. Ack.

They were always going to be a tragedy ... This is a very good story, sad, but very good.

Ahh That was too much. Feels overload. That was well written and powerful and felt so much like younger and older River trying to communicate to a blank wall. So brilliant.

Love you to death has never been truer.

That scene totally broke me, watching River react to that. And in the end (or beginning, from the doctor's perspective) it really did kill her, she really did love him to death.

I was ready to be the little girl in the space suit when the Doctor said that to River. I was cussing him out for saying that to her. And I knew that it must have killed her inside. This completely describes her feelings, and I can really imagine her feeling this way. Stupid Doctor for being so young and clueless. And when she kissed him at the end of the episode, and her face after he was so stupid and thoughtless...I wanted to kill him for River.

This was beautifully written and so in character! I feel so bad for River... When she said, "And I think it's going to kill me," I started sobbing. Because it did kill her! How sad is that? Anyway, I love this... really angsty and beautiful and perfect. :)

Heartbreaking but so true. I was so very angry at The Doctor for those lines given he knows what he does.

Amazing. I totally understand why at times she hates him, and their situation. It's devastating, but if it means we get these amazing stories then its worth it! Very good.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one bothered by the way he said that... and my heart broke for her when he turned away and it showed how just crestfallen she looked. I 3 her like crazy.
