Honestly shocked out of my rockers when I saw the update lmao I figured it’d be a final note/dead announcement but it still gave me some massive nostalgia. I remember reading this when I was like 14 (or that KIND of age lol) and being absolutely heartbroken when I realised there were no chapters left. Actually, just thinking about how much time has passed suddenly makes me feel old...
Totally relate tho - i’ve reread fanfiction I wrote when I was younger and some of it gives me the yikes. Massive respect for keeping this up in spite of any harsh feelings u have towards it tho - even if its quality isnt up to ur current standards anymore i think it can still be nice to look back on this kind of stuff sometimes.

This was the first fan fiction that I absolutely fell in love with. I began reading it when I was 14, and you truly did inspire me to try writing my own stories. Thanks for giving us closure! I was young too when I read this story, and it did gave me a lot of appriciation for OP and it's fanfiction, especially OC ones! Gloria's journey was a fun ride that I enjoyed till the end!

Having OC and self-inserts especially as a teen is actually a healthy way to cope with your own life, experiences, and a safe way to practice social situations and interractions without having to worry about consequences irl.

I'm very happy to hear you have grown as a person, and have found yourself. I hope you continue to have a overall safe and happy life to the best of your abilities. May your path forward be as enjoyable as One Piece ;D

You can only imagine my pure and utter shock at seeing this lol. Man, has it really been that long? But seriously, I agree, Gloria had her time, and now she rests lol. I'm glad you're doing well! And I just want to say, i remember finding this fic when it had 5 chapters, and it gave me so much joy through middle school. I'm 22 now, but I still think fondly of this story, and how it inspired me to write as well, so thank you so so much for giving us Gloria.
