cameron chapter 1 . 1/31/2015 please make the next chapter right now. i need more |
DAfan chapter 10 . 1/6/2012 Okay so this story, for the first game of portal, is about the characters. Are you going to have a sequel for portal 2 or just a lot of chapter? And when are you going to bring Caroline back into the plot? Please update so I can find out! |
Faux Promises chapter 10 . 12/19/2011 I really love Portal 1 GLaDOS. She's always been my favorite. I've never seen such a dead-accurate portrayal of a female sociopath besides her in that game. I have one in my extended family so I know them fairly well. Oh, just so you know, the cameras are the same in Xbox and PS3 versions. I can't speak for the PC version but I think they're all the same. Anyway, glad you're back! :) Best wishes, -FP |
GLaDHal chapter 10 . 12/19/2011 You updated, yay! For a moment I thought you gave up on this, but I'm glad you didn't. I sure do miss glados being cruel. I usually read other fics with glados being nice, which isn't bad. They're nicely written and all, but once in awhile I would love to read a fic with a glados being a little more cruel than in portal2 fics. I hope you understand, I'm not very good at describing what I'm trying to get at. |
GLaDHal chapter 9 . 10/27/2011 oh you updated, yay! this is a nice perspective. |
Celestia's Paladin chapter 3 . 10/27/2011 Yep... no wonder she tried to kill them. GLaDOS is more human than the scientists, save Doug |
Wrothmonk chapter 9 . 10/27/2011 You are accurate on the missing cameras, but in my opinion chell would have dislodged the cameras from the walls via portals. Just to show GlaDoS that she didnt like being lied to :) |
Celestia's Paladin chapter 1 . 10/27/2011 No wonder she wanted to kill them all |
Faux Promises chapter 9 . 10/27/2011 I remembered the lack of cameras quite well, when I was trying for the Camera Shy achievement, only to realize Valve were asshats that didn't include them on the PS3 (I played my first run through on my brother's Xbox copy). This was great, you really captured what I think was truly going through GLaDOS's mind. She seemed bored and excited for some gruesomeness. I liked this chapter a lot! :D Best wishes, -FP |
Wrothmonk chapter 8 . 10/9/2011 oh well the story was good while it lasted. |
GLaDHal chapter 8 . 10/7/2011 i just love how you put this all together. its perfect. |
Faux Promises chapter 8 . 10/7/2011 I always felt bad for Rattmann, he probably did know GLaDOS would go crazy at some point. George Orwell once said, what if a lunatic is simply a minority of one? As cruel as GLaDOS is, especially here, I still see her morality as being in the self-interested stage, not completely nonexistent. She just doesn't see a reason to be merciful toward anyone at this point. It's immature, really, but you can't blame her. She's like a god-child, way too much power without a proper understanding of how to use it. She isn't even able to connect her own poor decisions with consequences (Chell escaping). I like the references here, like Jerry the nanobot and the room with the screaming robots. It's like Aperture folklore. Great job, as always! :D Best wishes, -FP |
sinister banana chapter 8 . 10/7/2011 Awesome chapter! I can't wait for the next! :) |
Faux Promises chapter 7 . 10/7/2011 What the hell, I thought I remember reviewing this chapter. Your update made me notice I hadn't. D'oh. Valve contradicted themselves with the morality core...first they indicated that it had been made AFTER GLaDOS had already taken over Aperture, as an attempt to get her back under control, but the Lab Rat comic showed it as prior to her takeover. I think that is the more likely scenario though. Well, GLaDOS, you know what they say. Revenge is a dish best served cold. :) Best wishes, -FP |
