What the fuck. No.

Just reread this story. I'm sick and was missing Chuck and Blair and felt like reading a historical. I reread it again in one night. I forgot how heart breaking this ending is! I really like the push and pull and the tortured emotions in this fic. Man Jenny is evil in this fic. This is still one of my favorite C&B fics. It's well written and the story is addicting. Virtue Fell is my FAV C&B fic, I wish you had finished the sequel but I noticed it's gone so I assume my wish wont come true? Anyway, I hope you are well and thanks for writing awesome GG fics :)

I really liked this and I enjoyed the ending, but I wish that Jenny had a better plan. Like it thought that chuck would go to Blair and they would elope or seething so that it would matter of she were a virgin or not, like I just don't think that chuck would've married jenny because of something so small, like I though he might leave the alter and kill himself and Blair would mind him and do it also like a Romeo and Juliet type thing. I think your writing is amazing, but I just thought the last two chapters weren't thought out and rushed? Idk grey job either way

Please write the sequel soon, this is too sad to end like this. How much more angst do they need to go through before they can eb together? And now Blair has a child. There's more scandal to be had with an unmarried mother than a girl who lost her virginity before marriage. Noo! Jenny, I hate you. I hope she dies. I hope Chuck never sleeps with her, never consumates their marriage.

Oh no, please no. Don't let it end like this! Chuck needs to give Blair that choice. She needs to know what the exchange is for their happiness. Her virtue for their eternal happiness. She deserves to know the sacrifice he is going to pay for her virtue. She loves him more than she loves herself, she was ready to go with him to the ends of the earth two years ago when her love was young now she'll do it again.

You want to hear how I felt with this chapter? Very, very happy indeed. I really liked the dialogues in this chapter. The best being the one on the gardener and his love alluding to their own parallels. That was beautifully executed. The other favorite are these closing lines. I would be happy with this ending and just imagine them happily married with dark headed children after they battle through Eleanor's wrath, of course, but knowing them, after having found each other again, they'll make it through. But then I remember that there's Jenny and she still needs to be dealt with. That girl has something sinister up her skinny black sleeve.

My mistake. I said Grimaldi and Hornsby in a previous comment. I meant Grimaldi and the guy she danced with and Chuck kissed Blair where the other guy can see.

He said it! What are you afraid of, Waldorf? Is she still afraid of what her mother said? Of what others would say about her marrying new money?

I love, love, love, the tender dance scene before Little J interupted. The not quite hand clasp at the end was lovely too. They have a truce but to what end? Waiting for what? For Blair to find a husband? For Chuck to find a time to drop her secret?

A wet shirt scene! Waah! Lovely. Does Chuck know why Blair turned him away two years ago? Does he know that she really did love him then?

This is getting really intense. I had reviews for previous chapters but for some exasperating reason, I can't post review on my phone with which I was reading so I had to wait until I was in front of an actual computer. Anyway, I wonder if Blair considered outing the truth instead. While it would have caused a huge scandal, wouldn't it have been better coming from her then getting a hasty patched up marriage like she was trying to get anyway with Hornsby and Grimaldi? That way Chuck has nothing over her. It would have been social suicide but she's walking dead right now anyway.

Your writing is magnificent. I'm a huge fan of the Luxe series and I can definitely see parallels with it and your writing style. This is exactly the kind of story I've been trying to find; it's well written, has beautiful imagery, and the beginnings of a great plot as well. I can't wait to finish!

This story is amazing! I loved how you incorporated the lines from the show. Although the ending made me go wtf! Lol great job.
