i quite liked this chapter. it shows their daily way of life, i guess u can say. and it shows how understanding, mature, and compassionate rukia is

Wow. I admit I was a little bit skeptical of the plot behind this story and though it sounds like you're still trying to work out the kinks in it, let me just say that I think you are doing a marvelous job so far!

Im intrigued by the storyline as far as Ichigo and Rukia being on differing sides of a war torn land and am excited to see where you'll go with that. Ah, who can resist forbidden love? I especially enjoyed the exchange between Ichigo and Soi Fon and am curious... will Rukia be the one to save Ichigo from his poisoning? Im not sure why she would do such a thing unless the brutal slaying of her student prompts her to do something that would perhaps stop the senseless slaughter? Hmm... Guess I'll have to wait and see. ;)

Also, I would strongly urge you to not loose faith in this fic! You have a great writing style and the dialogue is excellent in my opinion. And don't worry about the weakness of an underdeveloped storyline, one of my best fics (Dark Side of The Moon) is being written that way. I had a general outline of where I wanted to go but when I sit down to write, THATS when inspiration really comes and the story practically writes itself! Perhaps it'll work that way for you as well. ;)
