What a happy surprise to find this early in the morning. I loved it and you had so many wonderful lines I can't even mention them all but I think the one about her hightailing it out of there so fast her underware would have caught on fire was my favorite. You certainly have not lost your touch.

I am looking forward to the rest of the story and the next one, of course.

This doesn't feel like the end,it feels like a Booth can apologise for being such an ass,for giving up on her,for pretending he loved someone else and moved on...totally agree with how you saw things,except that kiss *was* passionate,and Brennan clearly said no *because* she loved him,but Booth was too much of a douche to see past the perceived pain of rejection,yada man is unnaturally can't expect perfect all the time,even if you begin to once you know Booth.:)

This is a part of the story that needed to be addressed and you did it well. Things can be replaced, but not those of great importance, those are mourned.
