I'm actually very impressed at how effectively you've held this tangent.

Your ties forged by the brothers have retained well, and you've managed to keep a train of reason going for Naruto's interactions and responses.

I was also blown away by the Mizuki throwback. It's so remote, and yet subtle and cohesive to the story that it made a profound impression regarding the cannon dynamic.

The performance of your scenes have become quite streamlined and, yes, there was a double-take with how abrupt it was. The context is being fabricated in a healthy tandem, and the references are clear.

The 'timeskip'/'flashback' dynamic is kinda strange, but it makes for a very distinctive style.

Overall? Really good thus far.

I would have used ‘tactical’ or ‘subtle’ for this.
Stealth may not be his going ploy here, but I wouldn’t think it being the ‘one thing’ pressing the situation.
