I didn’t think I’d see this updated since I read it last—maybe 2015, 2016? I was going through my favourited last updated fics and saw it! Read it all through again (which is prob the 3rd time I’ve read it) and your writing has definitely improved! I LOVED the last two chapters (hadn’t read chp 16 yet) and it’s just what I needed during quarantine, thank you so much for writing! I’d read it AGAIN if you rewrote the earlier chapters too if you ever did decide to rework ‘em.

I really empathized with Ember’s view of the end of the world a lot, I’ve never agonized over death that much because I knew things would still go on, and that point of view on a larger scale helps me as much as it can with everything by that’s been happening, environmentally, politically, socially, and with the recent epidemic. But sometimes it doesn’t help and I lose that certainty, and it pushes me to help fight. So that part of the chapter made me tear up.

I also love Ember’s new suit! Reminds me of T’Challa’s, it’s super cool and it’s just PERFECT for someone who has to deal with giant mechs, even off the field. Less worry about a bad drop while messing around. Maybe one day Ember-ball will really be a thing! :P And will we ever get an explanation for Wheeljack’s weird staring? Seriously, Wheeljack. What gives. Stop that, it’s weird.

Thanks so much for continuing this, It's a rare treat to have a story come back to life! There are so few stories with Knockout in them to begin with. And about the being a different person after a few years, I can only see that as a good thing; people, and therefore their writing, gain complexity with age. Like wine, and cheese :)
I wonder if the other Autobots will give Knockout trouble for being impulsive on the mission.

Hey! I was just wondering if you happened to have any idea if you're gonna continue this story, at some point? I've found myself really enjoying it and I hope I see some activity in the future. :) Afterall, activity is better than no activity; either way, the 'Cons are up to something! ;)

You need to stop focusing on the human aspects of the story. She had a party for a friend and got drunk. Move on to some conflict.

I've read quite a few Transformers fics and I can't say that any of them have brought me even close to tears, but recovering Beachbreak's body and the funeral scene had me in tears. I also find myself smiling while reading this; you're very good at bringing out emotions in your readers, in my opinion

I was wondering, is this gonna be a romance, by the end? Not necessarily regarding Knockout and Ember, but between Ember and anyone? BY the way, I absolutely adore the relationship they have. I enjoy a story where the focus is a little broader, as opposed to focusing on only one relationship, be it romantic or friendship. I'm hoping to see more Ember/Sideswipe interaction, just because he's kinda hilarious (also, is Sunstreaker gonna make an appearance?!) Also, could I harass you and request a bit of Ember/Bluestreak interaction? I kinda love him...

Also, I'm curious, is the Mirage you're using the one from the third movie? Dino? Just curious
