I liked this romantic story with these two.
It was cute and humorous, with all of the necessary little bits of drama/angst added in.

Just practice writing romance over and over again. Practice makes perfect (just ignore the fact that perfection, doesn't technically exist in a pure form, and is determined all in the eyes of the beholder).
You could research the formula of romance, if that is even a thing.

I am not an expert on the subject so you might want to take what little pieces of advice I have shared with you, with a little grain of salt.

I can't believe it. Mark actually confessed. Sure it was due to Vaugn's severe peer-pressure (God bless his soul), but the boy actually blurted it out. I'll hand it to him. I probably would've wet my pants out of sheer humiliation. I mean having a mental breakdown and still playing it all cool in the end. My gosh XD

I can't say it was romantic like a daydream would have it, but I liked how it came out sweet and dorky. It felt awkward and funny and silly but also sweet and sugary and goofy like Mark's undoubtful and unavoidable wide sunny grin would make it be. I think it felt nice, and I can't help but be a sucker for Mark's type of persona :)

I really am loving this story and all senseless rambling that makes it feel complete. Wee! :}}}

That letter left my sides hurting from the inability to contain my laughter, just to match the previous amusement of ch. 7

I love them to bits okay I should stop rambling.) This is old school in a way so adorable and lovable and cute. I feel so fluffy and light and giddy and like how Chelsea feels. :)
