I just started reading the Cal Leandros series and am new to this random but holy cow! This story is amazing! I absolutely love it! Gave me the warm fuzzies to read. Terrific writing and fantastic story telling skills. :)

Niko is such an interesting character - so selfless, and yet entirely selfish in his care taking of his younger brother. Their emotions for each other border on obsession, while at the same time being the blind love of family. You captured this very well.

This is good :) I like it, how you follow it throughout the course of the books. However, I'm sorry to say, your tenses are rather mixed up. I couldn't make up my mind whether you are going with past-tense or present-tense. Maybe you could fix that. Otherwise, great!
