Hi. This probably is one of the best fics out there... I know you haven’t uploaded in years... but HEY! Hope never dies. The new movie is out so maybe that could have inspired you to come back, even though I heard it’s not that good lol. Well, I just wanna say this which is totally true and not biased at all: every time I feel sad I read your fic, it’s like I can relate to suzaku a lot, feeling lonely and trying to connect with people even if they seem to dislike you a bit. You just try to fit and if they give a piece of their soul you wanna get in there and do things to make them like you. Anyway if you wanna talk deborahlv27 is my twitter account. Love-hate that we are only getting Suzaku’s point of view. I can’t help but wonder what is going on with Lelouch! Was he in love with Suzaku? Or does he think a romantic relationship was a better way to bind Suzaku to him? Also... with Kallen: Of course she’s furious Lelouch is putting the resistance at risk but their conversation... is she intimately aware of Lelouch’s feelings for Suzaku or was she just that p*ssed off?

At the same time though the suspense and feeling Suzaku’s confusion with him as a reader is probably better in concern to storytelling... it definitely makes it more intriguing.

I like how... clumsy? Lost? You’ve characterized Suzaku as. It’s very endearing. And I like the fleeting thoughts he has that relate to his lost memories. And that the essence of Suzaku is still there.

And the open relationship scene... I really almost laughed out loud. It was one of the scenes where I was like GAH! Wish we had some idea what the heck is going on with Lelouch! He could’ve just been embarrassed (and I’m sure if we were getting his POV that is what he was tell himself) but the adamance of “you will NOT cheat on me!” PHEW. But then again maybe I’m reading too much into it... hm...

You can tell that this story was headed towards a major reckoning. Alas, you haven’t updated in over six years so I’m not hopeful that I will ever have the chance to read more of this! But I enjoyed this enough that I still wanted to leave a review to let you know how lovely your fic is. :)

I love this story so much. I read it years ago, and I watched a drama where a character loses their memories and reminded me of this story, so I came back to reread. I tried to review chapter 6, but it informed me I already left a review lol. It's one of my favorite stories written in this fandom, and I love how you portray Suzaku here. Everything rings so true to his canon character, from the conflicted morals, to an empty apartment, to seeing Lelouch as one of the best parts of his life at this point. I would love to know how this story ends, even if you never have a chance to update it again. And if it is updated, I'll be here to read it! Thanks for writing such a great story and sharing it with us.

Wowow, this was a super fun ride! I love love your characterization of amnesiac Suzaku, and Lelouch feels very solid too. Honestly, the part I'm most excited to read is the potential fallout of Suzaku learning about his actual actions in the past or even if he recovers his memories at some point in the future, but what has happened so far is already really engrossing! I particularly enjoyed how you portrayed Suzaku's struggle to find an identity in the midst of sifting through all of his complicated if limited relationships with others and the misinformation too, even as all the dramatic irony is weighing down my heart a lot, haha... anyway, thank you for writing this! It'd be great if it continued past this point someday, whether as actual new chapters or just a summarized ending, but even if it doesn't, the what-if scenario has been a pleasure to read! :D

A very good friend of mine - who cosplays Nunnally to my Suzaku and my spouse's Lelouch, LOL - recommended this fic to me YEARS ago, and I have only just gotten around to reading it now. I am stunned. This is so incredible. The details in how Suzaku reacts to and deals with his amnesia are so believable and fascinating; you have done a terrific job making everything very realistic and gripping. I LOVE the subtle- UGGH, I don't have words. I love everything, every emotion and reference you have worked in here. I love the decision to write this from Suzaku's perspective. I LOVE the way you write Lelouch. He's done very accurately; it really feels like canon Lelouch, and this story is brilliant because readers can understand very well what Lelouch is thinking behind the scenes even though Suzaku has no clue himself what's going on. I really wish I had read this fanfic sooner. I also realized you have not updated for years. That is sad, but I understand that sometimes life gets in the way or writers get bored of their own projects. I just want to tell you THANK YOU for having written this much. Your grasp of the characters and your conception of this story idea is brilliant and I enjoyed this SO MUCH.

OMG! Such an amazing piece this is! I really like how you've kept both Lulu and Zaku totally in character! And this story... it just gets better and better. Their relationship though... it will take some time for them to get USED TO eachother, no? It will have to progress slowly but surely!
