One of the best fanfictions I've ever read.

One of the best fanfics I ever read in my life. It's dark and sometimes very funny. I know you'll never probably continue this, but I want you to know that you made an amazing job with this. Thanks for writing this, and I'll be waiting for another chapter!

'"Burn them." Edward growled as he jumped over the wall that was defending the camp. "Burn them all to hell."' By far, one of my favorite parts of the story currently. It was funny, since it was so dark but also because I could imagine the way he said it. I do wonder how tall the wall is though. If it'still over eight feet, he can't jump over it without a ladder. Perhaps five to six feet?

Ed shouldn't smoke, it doesn't suit him. Wearing glasses, though? Definitely. But he doesn't wear glasses here. I just hope he doesn't keep smoking like Havoc, there are other ways to deal with stress.

Five years...

I freaking love this story. I know that you'll probably never update again, but let it be known that you did a fantastic job.

Oh darn, this fic is REALLY good... I love it a lot! Edward in a war... I've been dying to read something like that, and a Colonel with his own troops; you really spoil me. :D

Winry will probably kill Edward with a huge wrench if he gets back home with a smoking habit. :'D It would also be interesting to read Izumi's reaction to Ed's tattoo the next time she sees him. :)

I think Ed would really appreciate someone with Alkahestry in the time of injuries to his troops; too bad there's no one from Xing around.

Ed's doing really well as a Colonel, I ust hope Breda and Havoc will make it home with him; their deaths would equal Hughes' and that's just be traumatic as heck.

The stat record says it's been a bit over three years since the story was last updated but as an author who updates veeeery rarely, I have hope that there's a chance of another update some day. So! Finger's crossed and a tag of the Follow box. ;)
