I love the song Crazy he calls me! I totally got the reference (3 years too late lol). I love this story, and all of your eureka stories, but truthfully, I like the ones that you let yourself go to create new scenarios and crazy inventions more than keeping yourself tied to the show plot line. I guess that means you should be writing for tv shows, right? ;)

Real life delayed me, but I finished it! I still love your Zane throughout the whole story. And I love the way you used some of the canon lines, like the "Stop smiling" and "Why didn't that feel like a first time?"

Also, I really enjoyed the way Jo misread the Zane/Alison interactions. It was set up well, it created tension, and it was really well executed.

As for the twist at the end, it set my shipper heart aflutter. The only thing that gives me pause is that it almost definitely is not what happened in the alternate timeline, whereas everything else was so plausible. But it was very satisfying end.

I love the way you write Zane! In particular, it was the part in this chapter about the blonde chick in reproductive biology that made me think that. And then the rest of the chapter too. Also, as I'm new here, I don't know how many people have written an alternate timeline Jo, but I think you really captured what she would have been like.

I'm going to keep reading, obviously, but this is so good so far.
