I've really enjoyed this so far! Your Ruth is wonderfully in character (something that can be difficult to do!) and the evolution of their relationship has been great fun to read about. If your muse returns sometime then I'd love to see more, but if not then I've had a wonderful time reading this, and thank you for taking the time to share your work!

It makes sense that Ruth is still going to be scared, for want of a better term, of a longterm relationship with Harry. The fact that she still doesn't know how to define their relationship is a great idea and I can imagine very true to her S5 character. Well done.

This was lovely, Ruth's hesitancy really comes through and you captured it perfectly. Looking forward to your next update now your 'muse' and plotbunny are on speaking terms again!

Glad Ruth was a little forward - it's what I would have liked to have seen in the show...we know she has it in her cos she was the one who asked Harry to leave the service with her. Can't wait for more of this!

As I sit here drinking my coffee, I'm wishing that Harry was an available choice for me one morning rather than coffee. :-) I did like that Ruth was going to sneak away because I think her insecurity about her relationship with Harry wouldn't necessarily disappear once they slept together.
