allie300093 chapter 1 . 8/17/2019 This is amazing and makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside :) :) :) |
xc wings chapter 1 . 11/5/2014 I loved reading this. Most everyone seems to forget that the gods can be-for lack of a better term-assholes. Mainly because they never really concerned themselves with the affairs and health of mortals. (Nothing personal, it's just comes with living forever.) So it was interesting to see a much more accurate portrayal of Poseidon's character. |
I am that Writer chapter 1 . 8/5/2014 I liked it! :) -IATW |
meriland25 chapter 1 . 3/30/2013 Beautiful, it's honestly wonderful, very well written, and the ppint of view is in character and very realistic. |
Floatfoot chapter 1 . 3/14/2013 Nice how you show a darker side to Poseidon! |
afroparty chapter 1 . 3/6/2013 3 So beautiful again... |
glitters and gold chapter 1 . 9/3/2012 Ah, Poseidon. I do love him. He's absolutely fascinating. And I love the way you write this. Uplifting, however depressing it is for him, it's happy for Sally. |
Yesica G chapter 1 . 8/11/2012 Oh My Gods! This touched my heart! It's awesome! |
LarielRomeniel chapter 1 . 11/14/2011 Very nicely done. I like the way you've portrayed them both, and especially Poseidon's surprise at the passage of time. |
Whisper of the Moonlight River chapter 1 . 6/13/2011 Loved this one-shot. "She opens the door, blanches, almost shuts it in his face, and then composes herself." For some unknown reason, I find this line quite amusing. Great story! |
Ms-Trixie chapter 1 . 6/10/2011 For some reason, this seems so...tragic. Well written though :) |
Cassie's Neighbor chapter 1 . 6/2/2011 True love. Yeah, I really doubt there's such a thing anymore. And the whole "Love is fate" thing's busted, anyway. But I do believe love can make us do great things. Push us. Force us. And, in my opinion, you've shown it to us here. This isn't your best, I have to admit. But this is one of the most thought provoking fics ever. The world needs more stories that venture around Sally and Poseidon. You've done RR some justice by posting this. Thank you for the lovely read. |
baobabs chapter 1 . 5/19/2011 An absolutely amazing portrait of the Poseidon/Sally relationship. I love the way you put the whole love-lost thing, yet didn't add whole craploads of angst and moaning, just a sort of wistful happiness. (Sorry, I'm getting flowery. I just got back from the middle of nowhere-admittedly Xi'An-but still. My brain has been fried by Chinese classes, 24/7.) Anyways, my complaining aside, I just want to say that there were some veritable gems in this story, for example: So even though he could never love anyone forever, at this moment, he is glad to have loved her. AND He can't love anything forever, but of course, in all his vainness, he wishes she could do that for him. AND He watches his son walk out of the pavilion, amused, worried, and feeling something like, something like what? It's a little something like pride. AND Leaving is so easy it's a sin. AND (I promise I'll stop) The difference was, this time, the easiness of it was what hurt. ...Yeah. You are an amazing author, absolutely amazing. I only wish I could write as well as you. |
I promise you that chapter 1 . 5/17/2011 Beautiful! |
