Wow, this certainly puts a darker spin on the events of the game. Poor Chel, getting out of the Aperture Science building just to find out that everyone else is dead. And the Companion Cube apparently isn't very good company. Good job with narrative tension and SPAG. I couldn't find any blatant errors here.

Wow, this is a grim little tale! I had no idea it was going to be that way, despite the title, which could go either way.

Once again you've written a deeply philosophical piece with some lovely images (I like the image of the blue sky and fluffy clouds, in light of the drama of what happens next.)

My suggestion, especially in light of this being such a short one-shot, is to really ramp up the show-not-tell. Give us imagery- let us hear and taste and smell what Chell does! :) I imagine her situation is quite horrible, and you could really lose yourself in lots of gory, awful, wonderful details.

WWow, you just answered something that'd been bothering me a little since the ending. I haven't played Half-Life, but from what I understood it was something about an invasion from another dimension. And it involved something about a gravity gun.

But yeah, I can totally understand Chells need to get back down. I would have done the same thing, why stay up there with the dead adn unknown, when I could be within a (relative)safe barrier from everything?

This is really cute, well and a bit sad at the end... but I liked how you intertwined Half-life with Portal, I was thinking of writing a story doing the same thing _ Although I am a bit confused... since she took off the aperture science clothing does that mean that she was walking around naked? lol All in all, a nice little tid-bit of what was to come after portal :D
