It is amazing how sometimes we have no idea what is really going on beneath the surface, but our instincts tell us that there is more going on than meets the eye. People are complicated, but sometimes we have to look deeper than what is being said on the surface. And sometimes when things are utterly confusing : there is a big flag being waved. We only have to be willing to see it.

It is not entirely quatre's fault. Duo is acting closed. And it is confusing to the people involved with him.

Don't listen to that one "Guest" reviewer. There is no "right way" or "wrong way" to writing fanfiction. We each have our own style and if the person who left "helpful" suggestions had any intelligence, s/he would have noticed that this was one of your early works. You've changed how you write since you posted this. I love it now as much as I loved it when we first started chatting on AIM about it.

1. Don't put chapter breaks within a chapter. That's what we've got lovely multi-chapter features on this site. If it is a scene break, use the time honored asterisk, or the ever popular initials of the fandom. GWGWGW
2. Chapters, in general, should be more than 10 technical paragraphs.

I'm really enjoying this story so far. Poor Duo! However, with the surgery scene, it's actually MORE dangerous to operation on a conscious patient then to sedate them with the wrong drug. This is due to the fact that the patient can rapidly do into shock and will die before any measures can be taken, while many anesthetics actually have an antidote. it is also almost impossible to maintain a sterile field with a moving patient. I don't mean to be picky, but Sally is coming across as an irresponsible and masochistic doctor for choosing to operate on Duo without drugs.
