I just discovered this story last week and I love it. I know you haven’t updated in a while but I hope you will finish it. I love the writing style and how you show different POV. I also love how you tie things into the HP series with little things like the mirror and things Severus and Lily say to each other. I also really like how you pulled so many major characters into the story. Sometimes when too many new characters are introduced, the story gets lost... so this was a very welcome read. I have always been interested in James and Lily’s past and you just really captured it especially the Lily and Severus relationship. I hope to see an update soon! I’m going to go re-read from the beginning again! Thanks for a great story!

Really wish you’d officially abandon this or something

Fucking hell, the way this fic was randomly abandoned ruined me. I’ve been checking for THREE YEARS. And the author doesn’t ever use their tumblr, post status update, anything. They just vanished.

This chapter warmed my heart, James and Sirius getting so excited over the toaster and remus and Peter just sitting there telling lily to hide the blender and the telephone before they see...

An official announcement that this story is abandoned would be nice — I find myself checking it often, as I have been for years. But mostly I just hope you’re doing okay. obviously real life takes a toil and you come first, but any sort of communication would be nice. I’m mostly worried for you and not the fic (I hope you’re doing okay, wherever you may be). But thank you for masterpiece you created. Incomplete it may be, it is so many words and I’m so grateful. You really carved out a whole damn world and I don’t know if you still check these comments or not, but I hope you’re well and safe and I love you and this fic very much.

I know it has been more than two years, but I still hope for another chapter! This story is absolutely brilliant and realistic and by far the best fanfiction about Severus, Lilly and the Marauders. I Love the way you portraid the different characters and your writing Style is excellent! I am really sad that you stopped writing.

I’ve been lurking in this website for some time, but rarely comment on any fanfics (Awful, I know). However, I keep coming back to your stories and have to tell you that you are an incredible writer. I love how fleshed out your characters and and how to evolve with their circumstances. Even your original characters blend into the storylines without feeling awkward and forced. The fanfic has made me really happy and I would find myself coming back again and again for an update. I just wanted to thank-you for writing such an incredible story which brought me happiness when I feel down. I don’t expect that you’ll come back to this given how long it has been, but do you have any published original work that I can buy? You mentioned that you were working on a novel and I would love to support someone as talented as you. I hope you’re doing well, and thank you again for the adventure.

Even though it's been nearly 3 years since an update, and clocking in at 119 chapters this is probably one of the few WIP fics that I still check in on from time to time, hoping for something. I usually avoid WIP like the plague because of potential abandonment, but I still think about this fic and how fantastic it is every couple of months. I've never read a better Marauders fic (admittedly I haven't read much HP fanfic besides this in the last 5 or so years, but still). Your characterization of not just Snape and Lily, but the Marauders, OCs, and especially Regulus Black are all phenomenal. I know I posted many reviews in the past at some point, but I wanted to reiterate that your portrayal of not just the highs and lows of the Snape and Lily relationship, but the friendships between many of the characters is so nuanced and well written, especially Snape and Regulus (which I now can't unsee and chose to believe must be canon, it makes total sense to me after this fic) is just fantastic writing. I'm sure you must be great at original fiction too (which is something I think you talked about previously years ago on here).

It appears to be an abandoned fic, though I live in hope that one day you'll update it and possibly finish it. Even an update just to officially abandon it would be appreciated at this point. I don't know if you still read reviews, if you're still planning to ever pick this back up again, if you're even still alive (not to be melodramatic), but whatever the case may be in your real life outside of Harry Potter fanfiction, I do wish you well and hope all is ok with you and that you're living your best life. 3 3 3
