OK. This may not have been my favourite story, but it did have some merit. Frankly the ‘guest/s’ who spouted vitriol at you need to go to a good psychiatrist before they end up in jail for some crime or another, as they are pretty obviously seriously mentally disturbed. If they think they can do better, then They should come up with an idea, sit down at their laptop/iPad or whatever and write a story or two of their own. At least, you are making the effort!

Again, a fair bit of angst, but a decent story.

Those readers who have commented as 'cute', 'I liked it and read many times', 'Good story' are definitely canon shippers. Man it's too much to take. There are plenty of HP/GW, SS/HG and DM/HG fics in fanfiction world and they are just like headaches for a Harmony lover like me and like that was not enough you go then write angsty hhr stories?

Sometimes I think there are at least two or three writers in this site. One is who writes humorous hhr fics, second is who writes saddest hhr fics and third one is who writes non hp fics.
What's wrong with you? I've noticed that in most of your stories Ron is forgiven very easily. Are you related to Weasley?

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand, I can see Ron (or his mother) giving Amortentia to Hermione, although for more complex reasons than just Ron's jealousy.

It's just hard to imagine Harry without friends, considering that both Neville and Luna went to the Ministry with him.

A bitter Harry, yes. A Harry who closes himself off from other possible friendships, no. There has to be a bit more than Ron and Hermione becoming neglectful of their mutual friend. We have to see Harry deciding that he won't risk making new friendships because X and Y.

Why did he quit the Ambassador job though? It stated quite clearly that he liked what he was doing, and that the only thing that was wrong was that he was lonely, so why would he quit the Ambassador job after Hermione told him that she loved him? It doesn't make sense!

I'm not saying that I didn't like this story, but I think the genres listed are a much better indication of what kind of story this is than your description at the end of your summary. There's very little fluff in this.

As far as the story itself goes... I have a very hard time figuring out how Harry, someone who has known Hermione for years and has spent every day with her for roughly 10 months every one of those years, could not have suspected that something was terribly wrong with her. Maybe he was too focused on the Voldemort hunt to worry (or care) about his own relationship with her, but you'd think he'd have taken notice that something was off when her entire personality and priorities changed. And even if he couldn't bring himself to care to notice, you'd think that at least the faculty of the school would have noticed and done something about it.

She was never a strict rule follower (her adventures with Harry every year being a testament to that), but she was practically fanatical about her grades (and the grades of both Harry and Ron), so she would not have consciously allowed her marks to take a nosedive like that. She wouldn't have intentionally been late for class for any reason, much less a makeout session. She wouldn't have intentionally attached herself at the mouth to anyone in public, let alone someone she got into yearly shouting matches with. She was the top student in the school and regardless of the faculty's track record when it came to student safety, they'd have taken notice that their best student was suddenly slacking off, procrastinating, attaching herself at the hip to Ron and completely ignoring Harry, etc.

Ron might not have always been at Harry's side up to that point, but Hermione was, so for her to completely disregard Harry and ignore years of friendship to become glued at the mouth to Ron, it should have been a red flag to the staff that something wasn't right if her academic freefall wasn't already. Hermione would only turn her back on Harry if she was potioned or compelled to do so, but for every fic I see where this happens, literally everyone is either really slow on the uptake in figuring it out or have figured it out and just don't say anything.

I will say this to close out my review, though... thank Merlin you didn't make her pregnant with Ron's baby before she figured it out. There was a sentence or two when she was recounting the experience to Harry where I thought that's where you were going with it, but I'm glad you didn't. I've read a few too many fics where Hermione, not of her own will, turns her back on Harry, figures out, or has someone else figure out, later that she's been potioned by Ron (or Molly or Ginny), but, by then, has already had at least one kid with Ron. Kids in those stories just ratchet up the guilt and the angst for both Hermione and Harry.

I loved everythin except for one thing,Hermione gave both of her firsts to Ro so that's sh*tty,but overall it was good.

I really liked this story, except for what you had as Harry's career. He spends years establishing functional governments in countries that had presumably had just gome through civil wars or had suffered under dictators, gets offered the position of Ministerial ambassador, then decided to work as a promoter for magical sports and games?! He gives up a career where he could make a real difference, for one where he is in charge of advertising for Quidditch, which is a pointless job because it's magical Britain's only sport!

Not only can I not see Harry ever being happy doing that job, but you said he did it to make Hermione happy (which makes no sense, because she'd want him to excel, not achieve as little as humanely possible), so he'd probably end up resenting her for it.

Anyway, as I said, apart from that, I really enjoyed the story.
