THIS was such a GOOD, DIRTY, and BEAUTIFUL FIC! I blasted through it all in one go and finally have sat down to write a review. I loved the way you wrote the BDSM scenes! So tantalizing and powerful! I also LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE HOW you used the names. Endo-san vs Kakashi in places or Haru vs Iruka in places...! OMG. That was intentional right?! I loved it. It really showed the different levels of emotional involvement in the scene. Was it for the mission? Was it something more? I LOVED the detail with the names in the narration. Also at the end with the memory wipe! I was seriously convinced that Iruka got his memory wiped for a second! I was hoping against hope that he didn't but then I got doubtful, but then! My prayers were answered! Thank you very much author-san! "Iruka, my love, do you think it will rain tomorrow?" YELLS! I love well written BDSM and this fic has that in fucking HEAPS. So good... so beautiful... I really love the inner turmoil you put Kakashi through POOR GUY but he did his best. I'm really happy everything worked out in the end. GOOD WORK AND LOVELY WRITING! Probably the most in depth representation of bdsm I've seen in the fan fiction comunity. I'm only familiar with bdsm academically but I love how at the core it's goal for both parties to enjoy themselves with many safeguards in place when done right. Kakashi and Iruka's characterization was also spot on. Amazing job.

The thing is, however unsurprising it is that Iruka chose to keep his memories, your way of narrating it was exceptional. The story kept me on edge and wanting.

I have no words... I mean that in the best way possible. (I feel like Kakashi with my lack of eloquence. Haha.) My heart broke and mended with these two on their roller coaster emotional journey, and I have the biggest story hangover right now, I just can't get over it. Being this was a Kakashi x Iruka story, I had an inkling of Iruka's feelings throughout the story and it was so interesting trying to guess Iruka's emotions through Kakashi's lens. Iruka is so strong and beautiful in this. Despite playing the part of the sub he had great emotional control and a level head (especially in comparison to Kakashi at times). The scene where he cared for Kakashi's emotional state was a true highlight for me. I'm used to stories with a confident Kakashi, but you've written a tortured-soul Kakashi that is very realistic and seems like he could be canon.
I was wary about going into this story because mass media have not painted BDSM in a very positive or accurate light. Surface research have taught me that BDSM is not just a physical thing, but that there is also an emotional component too. I've never had quite enough interest to do more research, but your story have definitely taught me more about the community. Though I still don't understand the pain component, as the thought of experiencing pain or causing pain to others sets me on edge. But I'm a hundred percent behind the part about mutual consent and the use of safe words. Those are two things that everybody having sex should practice, not just the BDSM community.
Also, I binge read this story (a novel length story!) in ONE day! I probably should've spaced it out for better digestion, but the way you wrote your characters had me so hooked that I just had to keep going. (I also recognized Fai and Kurogane from Tsubasa right away. Oh, and I'm a fan of One Punch Man, too.) Now before I verve off on a tangent I just want to say: Awesome work!

Well hopefully Iruka was able to flip the pancakes. :P haha great story! I loved reading it! Those two are so hot together. I wish there was more! :)

Okay so first off. I LOVE THIS STORY! I MEAN WOW! So either you did a good bit of research or [like I'm actually guessing is the case] you are a part of the lifestyle yourself. which is just, amazing. A lot of stories I read feel like the authors don't have a proper understanding of true bdsm and D/s relationships or anything, so already 100/10 points to you for that awesomeness. Next up, WOW THOSE SCENES WERE SO HOT! You were able to make the scenes sexy and sensual without them being overbearing. You had a good balance of plot [which again was thankfully not overbearing "must save the world from evil" type of plot] and sex scenes along with emotional moments and quite a bit of self-reflection from Kakashi's pov so that at the end when we found out how Iruka actually felt about the entire mission it was even more heart-stoppingly emotional and beautiful and... again just wow. I award you all the cyber cookies because this is a masterpiece I doubt I'll forget anytime soon.
