I just hope that their experiences with his younger self (and witnessing his death, and witnessing the aftermath of his older self's torture) have soften the Gryffindors up a bit, so that they're more accepting of him now. What's the point of surviving the war if he still ends up alone and miserable?

Okay, now he's being silly. If he's really that knowledgeable on werewolves, he knows they're harmless in human form, so no need to freak out now.
Also, he *knows* that he's missed 20/22 (depending on which part of the timeline you f'd up lol) years of innovations, so how is hearing about something new in any way insulting?!

I must say I'm especially disappointed with Harry's reaction. This is a few months after he saw in the Pensieve what his father did to young Snape and we know he felt terrible about that, because he knows very well what it's like to be bullied. Now he has a chance to - after finding out if the Levicorpus incident had already taken place for this young Snape or not - at least apologize to Severus for the way his father and his friends treated him... and all he does is narrow his eyes and bump into him?

But the rest of the student body too - you have this young but bitter teacher who no one can figure out, what could be more fascinating than the opportunity to get to know his younger self? Instead they punish him for stuff he hasn't done yet, sheez

And who will pull him apart to tell him where he went wrong the first time around? A kid this smart must have had higher ambitions than school teacher and Head of House - he must be wondering what went wrong.

This is hilarious so far, but I don't understand your timeline. Severus came from March 1975, that bunch graduated in 1978, so Spring '75 is the end of his fourth year, before the fight with Lily, but also before the Shrieking Shack murder attempt. Then what's he doing with Advanced Potions and the sixth years? If Hermione shows anything, it's that high-gifted students do not get an adjusted programme...

Man, I hope this young Severus gets a better shot at life.

This was a brilliant take on the de-aging theme. I'd love to see what happens next and how things change for Snape with the people in the order and at Hogwarts. I'm glad that Snape and his mom got to reunite in the end and I'm sad that Severus had to die that way, though for him I can see him rather going that way than just fading or decompiling or whatever. That would be too ignominious a way to go for him. Too bad there couldn't have been a way to incorporate the two back together or for Severus to continue as Snape's son perhaps, but I suppose his living wouldn't have had the same impact on Slytherin House alums or children, or Lucius, as it did.

I just want to say that I absolutely love this story. I've read it multiple times and it is the most believable "de-aging" Fic I've ever read. Don't suppose it would be too much to ask for a sequel? I'm absolutely DYING to see the changes to canon you've set up.

Darn. They made it through the year, were looking forward to summer and now this. At least they seem to be starting to let their emotions show for each other.
