Please update soon! I've been waiting for years!

I love this work! It’s a shame it’s not finished but it’s still one of my favourite TMNT fanfics!

This is a very good story you created, very heart wrenching. I totally wish this was canon. When are you going to update? I have been wondering for years about how it ends. I have a few ideas if you need them.
Mikey has a heart to heart with April. April tells Mikey that even though his family didn't show a lot they still loved Mikey very much. (I'm thinking from the top of. my head). Maybe he tells April that he's thinking of running away. April tells him that he shouldn't run away from his problems. Mikey decides to go back home to his adopted family. Maybe Mikey eventually tells his new parents about his past, at first they don't believe him but when Mikey takes them to the lair they are shocked to find out it's true. Both families are confused, Mikey tells them that he doesn't want to choose between them, and he loves them both. Mikey's mom Nora shocks everyone by hugging Splinter or Raphael. Maybe there's an epilogue of Mikey telling Nester about his families being together. Maybe he's preparing to go to art school in the fall. Maybe Mikey tells Nester that he'll make a graphic novel about his experiences one day, He'll call it Who I Am. The end. What do you think? I hope that didn't sound mushy. I hope you can get some ideas from this. Please update. I have been waiting for a long time. The suspense is killing me!
