My mind decided to set this mid season 3, not sure why, but it did the trick... or actually, your fic did! 3 I wasn't expecting things to escalate so quickly between the two of them but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it.
Also, it was weirdly refreshing to read about Kate being judged by her co-workers. Good thing Castle was there to "cheer her up".

So, I'm almost positive that I read this story when you posted it because it seems very familiar and the odds of more than one author slipping in Brian Andreas Storypeople quotes from Her Laughter are insane. Ya, I'm a fellow Storypeople fan :) That little detail is the reason I know I've read this before. And I apologize for not reviewing the first time, I honestly thought I had. Anyhow, I enjoyed it just as much the second time :) Thank you for sharing your work. I am thankful for and respect every author and their contributions. This story put a smile on my face twice, and that in itself is a blessing... Now about that LA trip, I'd like a date with Stana, I'm dying to talk to her. :)

I don't know how I haven't read this one before! I also love Studio 60 and all things Aaron Sorkin, the implanted lines worked really nicely. I could definitely picture Castle actually saying Matt's line about Jeanie.
