This was a good story up until this point. Maura DOES NOT WORK FOR BOSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT. She is the chief medical examiner for the commonwealth and the Chief Medical examiners office irl is actually an entirely different building. I really with the show got that part right.

If that was me I'd have stayed in the hospital rather than give Angela a key to my or my potential girlfriends home. Its just asking for trouble. That was the one thing about Angela on the show that i really hated. She interfered in everyones business way too much.

I'm enjoying your story but there's a mistake in it and its something I see a lot of writers make. Maura Isles is the chief medical Examiner of the commonwealth. She does not work for Boston Police department. I checked the details online and in fact the office of the chief medical examiner and Boston Police department Homicide Unit are in fact in real life two separate buildings that are located several streets apart and if you were traveling in a car it would take approximately 10 minutes to get from one to the other. I think the confusion arises because in the show the writers have Jane & Maura working in the same building but is factually wrong. I think they've done this though to create the friendship the ladies share.

AV loved the fact u havent made Frank a complete arsewipe like a lot of peeps do. Not that I'm dissing other people's fanfics iive the rizzles community. Fair play 2 ya n all other fanfic writers. Like the fact hes chilled his beans n not put the Catholic guilt on Jane's shoulders.

Its really weird because when I found out that Sophia Loren was Sasha Alexanders mother in law I couldnt help imagining that she would have been great cast in the show as Mauras mother!

I have a problem with the actor in the show that played Jane's dad. Now he's probably a very nice man in real life but he gives me the creeps. I dont know exactly what it is but every time I see him I cant help thinking he's Dracula for some reason!

I greatly enjoyed reading this story. It was good that you really explored the emotions of Jane and Maura's relationship. A lot of Rizzles stories seem to just transition them to dating without a lot of contemplation but this story went really in-depth. Thanks for writing!

I know that you wrote this story several years ago but Rizzoli & Isles is a relatively new series here in the UK and I have just come across you, as an author, and your amazing story. Magnificent!

Your characters were beautifully written and so instep with their television personas. Such a wonderful interplay of angst and romance; each chapter seamlessly moving the story (and the relationship) onwards. Thank you for bringing other characters in to the revelation - I am wary of any love story played out in isolation.

My only criticism is that I wanted the story to move past the place of: 'and reader I married him'; but that might just be me being greedy and wanting more. More of Maura's parents, more about the difference in their background and class, more about grand babies ... just more. Did I mention that I am greedy? Thank you for your fabulous story!
