Great chapter. I always wondered how Fleur fell for a Weasley. I mean, yes love conquer a lot but the Delacours is from what I understood high standing, rich and the like of that. While the Weasleys are poor, not really smart and quick biased to everything that is not normal in their line of thought.

They are called bloodtraitors and I think they are called that 'cause they marry someone rich and then plunder the vaults from them. I had read somewhere that the Weasley were of high-standing but fell from grace through bad things and then I don't say the muggle things. And why Harry would hang around with them, sounds suspicious actually but glad to see that magic rectified this by bonding Harry and Fleur together.

Interesting concept...very short story. Not really inappropriate at all by the way and uh felt like it could use more detail in all aspects. I do like Hermione and Neville that's a cute pairing I didn't think of...

It's only a one shot, too bad years ago you didn't dig out more of the small errors, the typos, spelling errors, ecetera.

Too bad years ago, when the story was fresh, someone didn't point out one of the silliest conversations:

"You must do this," she told them before she turned and exited the room and locked it behind her.

Harry and Fleur stared at the locked door, surprised by the bluntness of Apolline Delacour. ...
"I know this is going to be difficult for us both Harry, but my mother is right. If we want to cement the bond so we do not run the risk the suffering of a backlash that can kill us we must make love to one another," Fleur finally told him with a timid smile.

"Are you sure you want to do this Fleur?" Harry asked, {{AS the READERS laugh their heads off }}wanting to make sure she was certain about this. "I don't want to hurt you," he added.

Sheesh, can't help but hear Fleur's french accent in her reply: "You are right, instead of a nice pleasurable copulation HURTING me, we should NOT fuck, and should just die instead. Death from zee backlash eez of course preferable over enjoying a nice good fucking."

Nice Oneshot story.
I would have like to see more Ginny moments and her reaction to Harry, Fleur and the Bonding you only mentioned her once with the whole Ginny had tried to restart her relationship with Harry and that was it, apart from that it was a Nice little oneshot.

will you do a rewrite of this with more Ginny in it, I'd like to see her reaction to Harry and Fleur?

Amusing. I like Fleur's character, or at least the potential of it. I think the best portrayal I've seen recently is in "When a Veela cries." where she is a strong, stubborn, and determined young woman. Of course that story may get quite a bit darker, but what is written so far is good.

I do like how this story points out how ridiculous the bonding stories can get. I for one wouldn't mind seeing more strong Fleur stories. Sure Harry and Fleur can get together, but there is no need to have any kind of magical bonding to do so. Heck, if nothing else, I think Harry caught Fleur's attention and possibly a bit of interest when he saved her sister. There are infinite possibilities after that, and infinite possibilities even without that. A simple one might be for Harry to gasp out something like, "Fly with me." after Fleur kisses his cheeks in the lake.

At any rate, thanks for pointing out how silly some of the bonding stories were. They seem like shortcuts to me, as much as anything to save on writing out how things developed...

dont like that ron was no longer harry best friend, and i understand bill point, he lost the women he love by magic, i mean if you thank about it rape, you force to love someone that you did not like a few minute ago. but it was not a chooice.

this was a terrible story HATED EVERY BIT OF IT!
