I LOVE YOU RIO!

And I have reached the end of Lost in Paradise, your first ever Rio story. I enjoyed quite a lot. I'll admit it got a little crazy at times and I won't lie, there were instances of your spelling and grammar that made it difficult for me to understand the context, but I got through it without a hitch. The story was a nice premise put to good use and the smaller sub plots helped tie off everything nicely as well. With a bit of tweaking, I can see this story reaching it's full potential, should you ever decide to revisit. Overall, great work and I will be off to read the rest as soon as possible.

Looks like everyone has finally reunited and returned to Rio, now with the inclusion of Robyn. I can see her enjoying new adventures with Pedro, but that is a story for another time. One detail that caught my eye was about Hector. Less I'm mistaken, he was about to say he and Linda were related? Curious as to why you casually brushed that over. Nevertheless, lovely story and I will leave you my final thoughts in the next chapter.

Relieved to see that Blu has returned to the living once again, but that part of him almost going to birdy Heaven, I honestly don't know what to make of it. Regardless, looks like the chaos has finally ended. I think this has been a great adventure from beginning to finish and no doubt setting up sequels that I will be reading. Onward to the final chapter (I think). See you then.

I will admit, this story has had a lot of bizarre adventures, but the last thing I expected to see was Lyle the crocodile. And why am I not surprised that Nigel would be stupid enough to try and attack him? Then again, he has other unbelievable feats in the past. Nice use of characters when it came to the battle and let's hope that Blu is alive.

I was going to point out that leaving their children could be considered irresponsible, but I doubt bringing them along the boat ride would have fared any better. Let's hope Mauro can save Jewel and Pedro before the worst happens to them as well. It would be a nice bit of development to redeem him, but I think it's been made clear at this point the birds and monkeys are on good terms already.

I can't lie, that opening scene with Mauro legit got a chuckle out of me and needed to brighten my day, so thanks for that. I would question the logic in how monkeys can drive a boat, but this is the same franchise that has macaws dancing and canary's wearing bottle caps. Anyway, looks like the final confrontation is approaching soon and based on the hint near the end, Blu has perished? Off to find out I go.

Had a busy couple of days, but I'm back and ready to read more of your story, let's get into it. No matter where the group goes, it's like Nigel is always one step ahead. Once more, he has kidnapped Blu and no doubt on the verge of inflicting damage. On the other side, we have the introduction of Mauro and his gang. I like the continuity there, because I remember Headlines referencing that he was in paradise. Nice work, off to read the rest I will go.

Looks like Blu is finally going to learn the masters of combat and hopefully he will put it to good use. One thing that kind of threw me off here was Rafael's usual wisdom advice by teaching Blu how to fly. I get that it works before, but that was mostly because Blu was mentally unprepared. Here, he's physical damaged, so I don't get how Rafael's logic would apply.

So close and still Blu can't find the courage to say this magical words. I hope that it comes soon and we got some development as to why he's so hesitant.

The Blue Macaws have once more pushed their previous confrontation away in favour of romance, very cute. Throughout your story so far, I noticed you have quite the habit of making a lot of sexual references within the story. Now I'm wondering how the heck Nico knows about their private life. Well, let's hope it doesn't come to that.

It was only a matter of time until the smugglers made their return. I will admire their determination, losing a ship to the storm and stranded on a boat didn't deter their mission in the slightest. That's commitment to a job if I've ever seen one. And as for the birds in the amazon, the Blue Macaws are off to another argument once again. Seems like the subject of flying has torn them apart once more, like poetry, as they say.

I like the interesting parallel here between the movie. Here, it's Blu the one giving advice to Pedro, just like how Rafael did for him. Nice call back to the movie there. On another note, just when you think things are looking up, convenience always seems to get in the way. I'm also afraid to ask what Blu grabbed onto if not Jewel's leg. Dare I ask?

I had the growing feeling we would be seeing the amazon's interpretation of the club, but all the same, it is a sight to behold and everyone seems to have finally settled after going through kidnapping again. I feel Jewel is being a bit insensitive here. Blu's got an injured wing and she's really going to act annoyed because he can't dance. That's a bit harsh, in my opinion.

Soon as I saw the title, all I could imagine was Falling in Love from Krat58, good bit of nostalgia there. But back to my review, the group have made it to the amazon. I'm going to assume that this is the same amazon (there's only one as far as I know) in Brazil? By the way, regarding when you said Rafael greeted them in Spanish. I'm not sure if you know, but residence of Brazil actually speak Portuguese. The language sounds similar, but they were different all the same. But with the help of new character Robyn, let's see where the group of friends can head to now.
