hey I know its been a long time but can you update this please I want to find out maka and soul's stories.

This is still one of my favorite Soul Eater fics, such a well written story in terms of plot, idea, and character execution. Any time I feel like I need a good fic, I go back anside reread this one.
Youve done a fantastic job with it, and I love love love how you wrote disabilities into the world. Kinda wished they'd have been addressed in the series more with so many weapons capable of slicing off a limb, but you've done a great job and it's nice to see Soul as the one in the wheelchair and not Maka (as I found out in one of my attempts to find this fiction again lol).

Please pardon me if it bothers you that I had to drop a review on a story last updated about five years ago. Though I will try to make my opinion brief. I came to love this story because of the investing writing style and creative development put into each character. It would be too much to list each aspect of the plot that I enjoyed, but what I now found particularly interesting-with the subject this last chapter ended on-was the backstory given to Elizabeth Patricia.

My theory about what happened is that regarding close soul bonds such as that shared between some siblings (Tsubaki and Masamune, Liz and Patty), someone could transmit certain aspects of their character to the other end of the bond in a moment of death, like a parting gift, or a will as another way to put it. Since Masamune was able to transfer his memories, thoughts, emotions, and weapon form to Tsubaki via close soul connection, I figure it reasonable that the same/similar thing must have happened between Liz and Patty before came Elizabeth Patricia. As Liz died, she managed to send her memories and et cetera to Patty, including her own weapon form, which is why by the time Kid comes she's able to fire two guns. Somehow Liz must've been able to transfer her consciousness and personality (?) into Patty's soul/body though... which could have overridden everything besides Patty's most instinctual memories as the two became one. Also maybe hence why Liz's probably-emptied-out soul couldn't be identified later by Lord Death. The overall amount of thought that had been put into not only every characters' present interactions but backstories is amazing.

Anyway now, I may have went away and lied. I'm not sure if around two paragraphs of a review counts as brief, but all is finally said. Regardless of whether or not this story is further continued, I have added it to my favorites list.

Damn but I'm looking forward to the reveal. I read the first chapter months ago and was hooked by that dark, mutated stuff. The last two chapters had that. It is good.

Bits with the Meisters, and the last few chapters seem kinda fumbled. This chapter, and Black star's backstory? Perfection.

Things that were a bad idea: reading an awesome fic last updated in 2011 that isn't complete.

It has been nearly two years, since your last update. I believe you, when you claim you have no intention of "dropping this story" and sympathize when you say you can't update quickly or regularly anymore, but don't you think taking about twenty-two months to update is quite a while? On behalf of the readers, I'm requesting that you update soon.
