I honestly don't know if I am able to write my thoughts down. First, I am so sorry for you loss!
This is something that throw you off track - and it takes time to get better and 'normal'. I lost my best friend a few years ago and sometimes it is still so hard - I think I will always miss her. I know thats no comparsion to someone you love...

So, even if I liked your story very very much - take your time! I'll wait, and I have no doubt that I will enjoy it when you'll return to writing.

I'm really looking forward to next updates on this story. I really like the relation between Kurt and Blaine in this fic. You kept Blaine as a mentor and friend to Kurt, and it just works so well. If only he was that way in canon. It's interesting how Kurt starts to see Dave's point of view thanks to Blaine. I can't wait to read what happens next!:)
