This was great. I loved the ending too. Great way to close it off :)

Stahp what you're doing! Ahh, so many Bob feelings now. Gosh. Sometimes it's hard to get a clear picture of Bob, one because of course he's king Soc and he hurt Johnny and Pony, and two because Leif Garrett plays him ... but I can really see him here, dark-haired and handsome and why wouldn't anyone like him? It's also making me realize just how hard the events of the book must've hit Cherry. Gosh. Good stuff here as always :)

That was really good. We never got to see much of Bob's charactor in the book but I really do believe he could be real sweet. Again, great job!

I love great portrayals of Bob. I think Bob's such an interesting character - really, it's so difficult getting into his head. And how Cherry characterizes him in the book, there's just so much you can do with him. It's strange how there are so few stories about him. I guess it's because he's a "bad guy."

But I love what you did here. Because, truth be told, Bob wasn't really a heartless monster. He was a teenage boy with a pretty darn good life. I'm sure he knew that.

I also love your subtle points about Bob's character. Cherry really doesn't KNOW why Bob did what he did - but he was a bit mysterious here, huh? It reminded me a lot of Dally. How he'd do things, or make connections with people that didn't really make sense ... like Johnny. I thought that was a good approach at Bob. And it also shows how maybe Cherry sees in Dallas what she saw in Bob.

I think it's hard to take another character and try to make sense of characters like Bob, because you really need to get into HIS head to understand why he does what he does, but even with your limitations, I think it was nicely done.
