I don't know if it would work out quite that smoothly, especially ending the war, but I think that it is plausible in general.

I was really curious about what would've happened if he unlocked his chackra then, and I truly loved this as far the the writing and the change in Aang went. But I disagree, because I think the last chakra was to wrap all the others up. What I mean is the guru was saying you need to have compassion for the world, but you need the strength to carry on when there's a moment you can't save the world.

Not to my taste. I always like to see Koh as an unhindered master of all things evil and sinister. To say that he can't steal other spirits' faces is fine, but I don't like that another can act so smug over him.
