Zdisslava chapter 1 . 7/26/2018
First off, I have to say I rarely ever leave a review but this time I felt I had.

Second, this was AWESOME! Very well written, great descriptions- it's quite rare that I can picture events happening as they're written, in fact I know of only three fanfics that can do that including this one. And the events! I can totally picture this happening and ironically your depiction of Satan as somewhat sympathetic actually MATCHES a documented exorcism case I read a coupla weeks ago from a few centuries past where the demon lamented that demons had no savior, and berated humans for wasting all their chances to be saved when the demons would do ANYTHING for just ONE.

Personally I'm a Christian myself, though nondenominational because of my views on certain issues, so from the bottom of my heart
thanks SO much for writting this, and may God Bless you.
Chalayne chapter 1 . 1/30/2017
This is absolutely & amazingly well written. I had never given much thought to the time Jesus Christ was seperated from God the Father. You have given us a snipit of what it could have been like. Wow is all I can say. You should also post this on the original writings sister site to Fanfiction.

Watching a perfect soul as Jesus to brutally be killed by his own creation was horrifyingly depressing. But Jesus dying on the cross for our sin and becoming salvation was a BRILLIANT plan. Flawless plan created in the beginning of time. JESUS the Brilliant

Dear Alydia,

I must say, firstly, truly and honestly, that you have quite a gift. It is impossible to say that you don't. I have read several of your stories-some of them three or four times each, I will admit-and I have skimmed over this particular piece many times because of my skepticism for the accuracy of biblical fanfiction in general. I am genuinely apologetic to say that I ever doubted your knowledge as well as your flawless grammatical know-how. It really is a shame that so few authors are as meticulous about their work as your are, but I find that it is even more satisfying to find some redeeming works, such as yours. Anyway. This story was beyond any synonym of beautiful or graceful I can list out to you. It pin-pointed His immense love for us, as well as the relationship between Him and Lucifer. The reason I was skeptical was largely because this IS a fanFICTION website, and I was afraid of inaccuracies. I apologize deeply for letting others influence my opinion and thus leading to my skipping over this. It was infinite amounts of wonderful.

Please, let nobody take this gift away from you. It was clearly God-given. Everybody on this Earth is here for a reason, something that I firmly believe is true. This, my friend, is most certainly yours. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this, you have a graceful way of writing.
B chapter 1 . 4/19/2015
Eloquently put. I never truly thought about what went on during the time He was in Hell. I read somewhere that he got the "keys to hell" but I felt that it wasn't like our car or house keys. Thank you for thinking outside the box. I loved the part where you said, "where He is is Heaven, and where He's not is Hell." So profound and so true. Thank you so much for writing this!

I have always wondered about the things that have happened beyond humanity's sight, in the realm of the angels and demons. This is some great writing. You really seemed to get the old relationship between God and Lucifer down. I like how you used stuff from the Blble and Paradise Lost. I intend to write my own fic for the Bible soon, and I hope to get the characters right. Any advice?
audiblyausten chapter 1 . 1/14/2014
Wow. There are so many beautiful things in this piece. I love the line: 'Yeshua would have them forever.' This whole story sent shivers down my spine and set me in awe of Him. He is so great, and oh how He loves us. I love my God with all that I am. God bless you for sharing his love.
Abigail chapter 1 . 8/26/2013
Probably basically the best biblical fanfiction ever. I don't look for Bible fanfics usually because I worry writers may sometimes misinterpret the Word and write offensive content on accident or, even worse, on purpose. But I was looking through your list of stories after reading a Harry Potter piece from you as well and I couldn't resist clicking the title. Turned out to be the best piece of literature I've read of the struggle between Lucifer and the Holy Trinity. God has blessed you with a brilliant mind; thanks for posting this! You kind of really made my day!
Blerb chapter 1 . 8/1/2013
Wow... this was beautiful - nicely done.
darthxerik chapter 1 . 7/16/2013
whoa, I utterly enjoyed this. As someone who totally gets the tragedy and the concreteness of the eternal good n' evil struggle, I'm in awe that you took on such a theologically challenging scenario and made it really detailed, and that I actually loved reading through Satan's perspective? (what?!) The very end was the best part. I can tell you've read some C.S. Lewis, maybe screwtape and such. I'm totally bookmarking this. If you haven't read writings by Ted Dekker, he does some great works of fiction that deal with Good and Evil too. Loved it! I'm so glad that Jesus triumphed once and for all. ;D
