This is exactly what I picture life must've been like for them. :( I sympathize with them and want to just jump in there and yell at all their enemies! I highly abhor bullying, but I'm glad that it makes some of us stronger. As you so eloquently put it, "Even knives dulled after too much use." I didn't know if I'd actually like this story when I started it...now I'm sure I don't...I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE IT!...lol..I bet you thought I was gonna flame you..hehehe...sorry, I couldn't help it. Anyhow, bad joking aside, I really did love this story of yours. It had me feeling for both Spock and Kirk by the third 'story' (not sure what else to call the parts you had for them both).
