This was very cute. I've read many transformation stories most of them either involved water, or chanting the original spell backwards. This is one of the more original ones as far as this kind of story goes. I ended up picuring the kiss somewhat like the one from Beauty and the Beast. I also found Elphaba correcting fiyero funny and adorable.

100% adorable! This made me smile, and at the beginning when Elphaba was all depressed it made my heart leap when Fiyero tried to comfort her. This was incredibly sweet, I love that last line of the song about the "perhaps I'd deserve ya", it's SO talking about Elphaba. You've got to love Fiyero, I know I do.

This was a good idea, SURE the transformation story has been done before but what does it matter if it's well written? Loved it.

You're imagining Norbert playing him, I'm imagining Lee Mead playing him, someone's probably out there reading your fic and seeing Oli Thompsett in the role... what I'm babbling on about is that there are so many different interpretations of Fiyero and it's fics like yours that help bring them to life. I loved the "grammar police" bit too, I cringe at some of the grammatical gaffes in "If I only had a brain". I can see Elphaba correcting him in that precise way of hers. And yes, maybe the end was a cliche, but a very nice cliche. A sweet treat for Easter, better than chocolate!

I hope my husband is as adorable as Yero... Not that I am at a point where I need to worry about that... I do not care abput the cliche. Something about how you wrote it was nothing short of magical.
