Another good chapter. Excellent job on your descriptions of Ave's experience in the dungeons. You could really feel her pain and agony. And I knew that Gryffindor bravery would show eventually. I loved seeing her stand up to that buttwipe Carrow. Can't wait to see what happens to her next.

Great chapter! Brilliant job getting into Avelina's head and what a toll her nursing duties are taking on her. The conversation with Maddy was so well done! The dialogue conveyed the proper emotion and felt very natural. It was nice to see Avelina finally open up to someone on her feelings for Neville. And I still like how you make her have such a self-confidence issue and how she feels she is not doing her part in the war, even though, in reality, she is a huge help to her fellow students.

Just one typo I spotted: "alright" should be "all right"

Good chapter. It was really cool to see Ave get a bit forceful with Neville in trying to calm him down. I like how little by little you're bringing out her Gryffindor side. Also, nice job showing how nervous and flustered Neville was over this first meeting. Very realistic reaction.

Good chapter. Again, I really like how you portray Ave. Her fears and worries are very real. But those last few lines show that she does possess some bravery, as she does commit herself to the DA when Neville "volunteers" her for it.

I found this fic a while ago and then my old laptop crashed which erased my bookmarked links. But yay I found this story again :)

I really love Avelina. As someone who writes a HP fanfiction with an OC, it's a shame this fandom gets a lot of crap for Mary Sues when there are fics like yours that prove well thought out original characters can bring so much to the table. Ave's perfect and she's not some super special snowflake.

Good chapter. I liked Ave's little burst of jealous with that Hufflepuff girl sitting next to Neville. Nice job of showing her nervousness at the prospect of re-starting the DA. True to her character. In fact, I give you major props for creating an awesome flesh-and-blood OC in Ave.

Another solid chapter. Good job of taking the reader through what Ave feels in the aftermath of the Torture Curse. I also really like the addition of the curse resulting in mental torture as well as physical. We also start to see some of Ave's bravery show through as she forgets her pain in order to help Neville.

One typo I caught: "attemted" should be "attempted"
